BARNSLEYCHOP Posted September 4, 2017 Share Posted September 4, 2017 3.10 Ripon ITLAAQ @ 33/1 Bet365 (ew) The old guy looks a decent price today, two of his last 5 runs have been over 1m 6f and on soft and his performances have been poor, however the other three of those five he was beaten 2 3/4L off 75, 4L off 77 and 1 1/2L off 75. Down to a mark of 71 today and has a claimer booked which may sound risky but this horse gets on well with claimers and this claimer has had 3 rides for Easterby in the last week and has finished in the frame on all three rides on horses priced 50's 33's and 11's including a ride here where he was beaten only a length on a 33-1 shot. May be vulnerable to an improver but plenty of these look in the grip of the handicapper and should outrun his current odds of 33/1. I rarely go ew but it may be prudent with this one.
