While they are likely to be a high after beating Cincinnati but one has to wonder how emotionally spent they could be. It was a great win as they had to come back from two goals down. Most of the starters played heavy minutes. This game will be played on turf again (same as the one against Cincinnati) which is not going to help their cause too. Portland Timbers will be keen to get back to winning ways quickly as they are in a really tight Western Conference. They are likely to be without starting gk Jake Gleeson, defender Liam Ridgewell and second leading scorer Fernando Adi but if they can take advantage of a NYRB side who is likely to be tired physically and mentally, they should be able to get another win at home.
