On the flop 86%, even on the turn after you hit your full house your still only a 90% fav, miles head but he has 4 outs so it's not that much of a shocker

Sure it's a bad beat, he made a shonky call, no disputes. However as bad beats go, it's certainly at the very soft end of the scale. You can expect to lose from there more often than one time in eight. If you're playing a reasonable amount, I'd guess most people suffer worse beats every day.

Fool on the BB had been playing very LAG, the previous hand I doubled through the big stacked button who attempted to bully me with junk, then this hand occured. I should be raising the BB here right, he/she had been calling/raising with all sorts of rubbish and sucking out so when it folded round to me in the SB I limped hoping to see a flop, I bet out quick hoping to look weak and get the re-raise, lovely I thought when it happened, as soon as the 9 hit the turn I knew what was coming next. :rollin By the way this was my first game on BF after signing up through a PL link, is there a way of checking to make sure both partys are aware it went through a PL link as I assume this kind of thing is PL's bread and butter? :ok

Re: Had a bad beat ? Come and have a moan here Nothing much to the poker, but ... I was playing a Prima Rounders Round 4 on Saturday (effectively a $300 Cooler/Double or Nothing). With eight players left, my laptop froze. No idea what was wrong (it seems to be OK now), but at the time I had to reboot it three times before I could get back to the tournament. :( In the meantime the blinds had eaten up most of my stack, and I got back to find I'd just been dealt AK on the button with a stack of about 2.5xBB and seven players left. I just had time to go all-in before I was automatically folded, and got called by QJs in the BB, who rivered a straight. :( I put my palm to my forehead in mild frustration, knocked my glasses, and the right lens fell out into my coffee. :( I think that's the first moment when playing poker that I've felt the world was out to get me. :sad
