Woohoo. Fitba's back :cow

Hibs can start the season off with a win against Partick Thisle. We've done some fantastic business over the summer and have strengthened an already strong squad. Pre season has went very well with goals being scored from a number of different players, combined with a very strong defence and a real depth to the squad, the optimism from the fans for the season ahead is higher than I have ever known. I was hoping for slightly better odds but Hibs at 1.83 is just enough for me to get involved.

Hearts continue to be an absolute shambles of a club and you have to think Celtic will take care of them without much fuss in the early kick off today. Celtic -1 at 1.54 looks like printing money.

Hibernian v Partick

Fancy newly promoted Hibs to win this , they have a built a good team since being in the championship and added stokes , whittaker , slivka and swanson to it over the summer , experienced players and a good few youngsters.

10/11 home win

8/1 2-1  betfair

Accrington vs. Colchester , home win @ 6/5

Accrington was one of the top teams after Christmas, slow start to the season stopped their promotion push.Coleman is saying,no way that will happen again, they are very concentrated and will want to start with a convincing win.McCartan wnt to Bradford on a minus side, but they bought well and im sure John Coleman will sort this out no problem.Last season, they did win against every team, that was promoted from legue2 ,so the quality is definately there.

Colchester with good few injuries for today, hosts with full squad.

Annan vs. Peterhead , away win @ 21/20

Blue toon kept Scottish football longest serving manager Jim McInally after their drop, they have recruted well, played fantastic in Betfred Cup (won against Hearts).McAllister wont play today, which is a blow, but there is other prolific strikers at the team, ready to fill his boots.

Annan lost influential boss Jim Chapman aswell as 5 players to Clyde,it will be extremly hard for them to repeat last season fantastic 3rd place finish.Their Betfred cup results werent encouraging too.
