The youngster made an encouraging start to his career at Newbury 19 days ago when finishing third to two useful looking sorts. Down to 96 today and this is probably the weakest race he's tackled for a while. Stays further as he's got older so the 1m trip here is within his compass. Trainer historically does well in July and has only sent 5 horses here in the previous 5 years. 16/1 looks awfully big, probably should go ew as he is vulnerable to a less exposed type......no I'm greedy, win only.
