You always get a chance to see some exciting talent coming through the ranks. Will any of you guys be watching this year's competition? Anyone backing England Under-21 to win the tournament at 10.00? Players in the squad include Jordan Pickford, Calum Chambers, James Ward-Prowse, and Nathan Redmond. vasilli07 Posted June 18, 2017 Share Posted June 18, 2017 Sweden DNB @ 1.83(unibet) While not being as talented as teams like Spain, Italy or Germany, Sweden has look really solid at this level. In the qualifying campaign, they were undefeated against fellow qualifier Spain and finished ahead of them. Even though Poland is the host but they didn't really look too impressive in the first game and I'm not sure home advantage is a big factor. The last three hosts of this competition didn't make it out of the group stage. Both teams will be looking for a win but I will side with a more solid Swedish side here. I liked Zivkovic on the wing, very skillful player. Portugal v Spain - Could be a final. Both have such talented players. Both winners in their first matches - hard to pick. I will just enjoy the match Czech Rep v Italy - very good game as Czech have to win and will push hard with their good attack. vasilli07 Posted June 21, 2017 Share Posted June 21, 2017 Italy -1 @ 1.95 With only the first place and best second placed team being guarantee a automatic semi-finals spot, Italy knows that they cannot rest on their laurels just yet. A win here and maybe a draw in the last game should see them finish as one of the best second placed team. As for Czech Republic, they will have to come out all guns blazing to get a win and that should leave gaps for superior Italy to expose. Maybe i would go for Czech v denmark - over 2,5 goals or even win czech. Italy - Germany I dont really know... Are you tempted to be patriotic and back the 3.10 outright win odds? Or would it be more appropriate to back a defeat on penalties to Germany? Spain clear favourites against Italy but odds of 5.00 in a Semi-Final game are very tempting. @stevieG, will you be getting involved here?
