OK I am going to try this with an increase at loss system. The increase will only take effect after the 3rd bet and will increase by 1 Pt. It will stop after a profit is made. Just to throw the spanner in the works, if a profit is not made after the 5th bet, every winner we have will decrease the bet by an amount determined by the price of the winner (cannot decrease below 5 Pts.)  

1. Odds on winner, (after bet 5) next bet will be same as previous.

2. Winner from Evens to 11\8 next bet will decrease by 1

3. Winner from 6\4 to 9\4 next bet will decrease by 2

4. Anything above 9\4 next bet will decrease by 3

Don't forget you cannot drop back below 5.

So to sum up first 5 bets will be : 3 Pts, 2Pts 1 Pt, 4 Pts, 5 Pts  

If no profit is made after 5 bets the above 4 rules come into play. 

Hope this is understandable.

Yesterday would have shown an outlay of 15 Pts ..... Return of 27.5 Pts    Profit of 12.5 Pts.

After Day 1

It took 7 bets to make a profit :  Stakes were as follows, 3, 2. 1, 4, 5, 6, 7 for a total outlay of 28.

We had 2 winners: 

Villa Tora  1 Pt @ 2\5   returned 1.40 

Tonahutu  7 Pts @ 9\2  returned 38.50

Total returns 39.90 for a day 1 profit of 11.90 Pts

10 bets to make a profit today a very small profit at that. 

Stakes were as follows : 3, 2, 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 6  for a total outlay of 51

We had 3 winners :

Consequences  2Pts @ 2\11 returned 2.36

Highland Reel  9 Pts @ 9\4  returned 29.25

Star Foot  6 Pts @ 9\4 returned 19.50

Total Returns for the day 51.11 for a day 2 profit of 0.11 Pts

Total Profit : 12.01 Pts

Day 4

Todays racing proved how difficult it is to have a staking plan when there is a delay at a meeting. The 2.30 at Fakenham didn't go off until 2.36 and it clashed with the 2.40 at Listowel so I had to cover that as well.

Staking plan was as follows  3, 2, 1, 4, 5, 6   for a total outlay of 21

We had 1 winner:

Thats the Deal  5 Pts @ 8\1 returned 45

Total Returns for the day 45 for a day 4 profit of 24 Pts  (could have been 30) 

Total Profit : 38.01 Pts

Day 6

Well out all day and just finished catching up on the replays. What a disaster which shows the danger of staking plans that increase at Loss. 

The most we had lost at any one time was 141.5 Pts. The closest we came to making a profit was after Zenon won. Another odds on winner would have given us a profit. I am going to state here that we will not have many of these days. :hope

6 Winners over the whole day. Its going to take me a while to do the staking plan.

Staking plan was as follows  3, 2, 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, NR, 14, 11, 11, NR, 12, 13, NR, NR, 14, 15, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 17, 18, 15,16    for a total outlay of 391

Zenon 11 Pts @ 10\11 returned 21

4 winners and 5 seconds over the jumps, most jumpers can get through soft ground so the change doesn't affect them so much.
We were unlucky with the treble again, 2 out of 3. Onwards and upwards as they say.

Day 7

Was in the hospital since early morning had a look at the first few race results 2 winners in the first 5. Thought to myself no need to check these till I get home as an easy profit to be made today. Little did I realise what was happening.

Going by the previous two days to carry out this staking plan you would need a starting bank of £200  for a pound a point staking plan.

Nightmare, I thought you had made a profit after the Nap to be honest.

Back to the drawing board, Ratings are just clinging on to a profit this month, mainly due to the early prices.
