DC United - Chicago Fire Under 2.75 @ 2.01

DC suffered a big defeat last week from Philly 4-0 and a week before they had another home loss 1-0 to Montreal. They will definitely need to get points at this home match before heading some away games. Problem is leading scorer of the team, Acosta, is suspended and will miss this match. Winger Nyarko is also out. Even when the team have full roster they find it hard to score; only 9 goals in 10 games.

Chicago seems be a better team than last season. Striker Nikolic is the top scorer of the entire league with 10 goals, also the arrival of Schweinsteiger gave the team a real boost. For Chicago it will be the 3rd match in 7 days, plus they have the mighty Dallas next week so we'll probably see some rotation. I think that a draw is a good result for the Fire and that there won't be many goals in this one.

Sounders -1 @ 1.85(marathonbet)

Sounders will welcome back a few starters(Joevin Jones, Brad Evans; Osvaldo Alonso and Clint Dempsey) who sat out of the midweek game. They are almost at full strength with defender Roman Torres being the notable absentee. CenturyLink Field has been a fortress since Brian Schmetzer took charge last July. Out of the 14 games, they have won 9 and lost only 1 of them. Even though RSL broke their losing streak but I feel they will come up short against a desperate Sounders side.

 

FC Dallas -1 @ 2.16(betvictor)

While Earthquakes may look good in the table and only 3 points behind FC Dallas but 12 points out of the 16 were taken at home. On the road, they have already lost to the better teams in the West like Sporting KC(2-1) and Houston Dynamo(2-0). They even lost to the worst team Colorado Rapids by a score of 3-0 last Sunday, that's how bad they are away from home. FC Dallas may not have score alot so far this season but against tired San Jose Earthquakes side, I feel this is a good opportunity for them to get a 2 goals victory.

 

Philly -0.5 @ 1.9(marathonbet)

Both teams played in midweek but Philly could have more of the rest advantage as they played at home while Rapids played in Chicago. I expect Philly coach Jim Curtin to make some rotation but it's going to be minimal so that it's won't disrupt his team rhythm. Given Philly red hot form, this is the game they should really be winning. Colorado Rapids have lost all 5 of their road games so far, scoring only once and conceded 10 goals.
