For better or worse, I've enough time on my hands to have a fairly close look at today's action. That means more bets and I can actually post them as well! Taking the 3 Pro 12 games first, I've had the following bets. All are based on my opinion where a price catches my eye and study of the player's stats support the bet except for the hotshots which are "systematic" selections if you like, with no subjective element. I just price the players up and bet (or not) according to prescribed criteria.

Cardiff v Zebre: Anscombe to score a try at 16/5 and Minnie to score a try at 11/2, both with PP

Edinburgh v Dragons: Mata to score a try at 16/5 and Watson to score a try at 4/1, both with PP. Buy Dragons hotshots at 21 with Spreadex (25 points per Howard, Beard, Hughes or Meyer try)

Leinster v Glasgow: Buy Leinster hotshots at 36 with Spreadex (McFadden, O'Loughlin, A Byrne and Kirchner) and Glasgow hotshots at 29 with SPIN (Jones, Grigg, Sarto and Seymour)

Will see if anything appeals elsewhere.

Harlequins/Wasps: Marchant to score a try at 11/4 with Skybet and Daly to score a try at 11/4 with Coral. Buy Wasps hotshots at 45 with Spreadex (Bassett, Daly, Wade and Le Roux)

Newcastle/Worcester: Watson to score a try at 11/4 with Skybet

All that effort to more or less break even! Tries for Anscombe and Marchant mean you'd have won £9.50 from a tenner on each anytime selection. The 39 point profit from the decent performance of the Pro 12 hotshots was wiped out by the 45 points loss on Wasps. Bets to follow on the early Super Rugby games.

Chiefs v Sunwolves: Buy Sunwolves hotshots at 17 with Spreadex (Sasakura, Tupou, Goto and Matsushima)

They may be over 30 point underdogs but I think that price is a good 3 points too low and underestimates the chances of the the 4 players mustering at least a single try between them.

Reds v Waratahs: Buy Perese try minutes at 14 and Hanigan's at 6, both with SPIN

I'm keener on the latter than the former. I'd equate those prices to 13/5 and 13/2 anytime when the best available prices are 13/8 and 4/1
