Icongene
Kilmarnock v Rangers tonight see's two teams crippled by injuries. The (a) team have 3/4 starting defenders injured/out so they have had to draft in 2 players from the youth team who have never played before. The game is also on a plastic pitch so should anyone pick up a injury it will deplete them even further and they have no strength in depth. Their new coach is yet to find the right set of players/tactics after two games and this one see's him make 4 changes from his last line-up that drew 1-1 at (h) v lowly Motherwell. Rangers are on a terrible run of form since new year, that sees them currently trail 2nd place Aberdeen by 13 points and their away form is extremely bad. Killie picked up in recent months and have moved themselves away from the relegation zone and now are in contention to finish in the top 6 so shouldn't lack motivation. Apparently only 8 players trained this week (but I think it was mind games by the coach) but they do have a lot of injuries. They've scored in their last 9 matches though and have one of the best goalscorers in the league in Kris Boyd. I expect a poor game with little fluidity but both teams defences are notoriously bad, added to all the enforced changes on each side, BTTS @ 1.73 Edit: A tragic game where both teams could have played another 90 minutes and still not scored.
