bluemal Posted March 28, 2017 Share Posted March 28, 2017 Sedgefield 3.10 King Of The Dark @ 14/1 bet365 e/w thanks King Of The Dark....from Victor Thompson yard the 10yo was successful here in a 2m 5f chase heavy winning by 28 lengths in February this year and a point-to-point at Alnwick 3m good to soft when he first came to yard in 2015, The handicapper hit him with a 7lb rise two races back and those last two races he struggled with the extra weight with a 7th and 5th place with both race here at Sedgefield both over 2m 3.5 furlongs , He's had 11 runs round here and although only one win and two 2nd and a 3rd place and is back here today with 2lb off and young jockey Thomas Dowson getting 5lb allowance which he got when winning on him Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
robertob Posted March 28, 2017 Share Posted March 28, 2017 3.50 Lingfield Muthraab Aldaar has been treated leniently by the handicapper despite a massively eye-catching return after a seasonal break last month at Kempton. He broke very badly that day, was still last with two furlongs to go but made incredible headway marching through the whole field to finish what looked moments before an unlikely runner-up. He should come on for the run and given he is down to a career lowest rating after having been put up way too high as a three year old after a maiden success he's here a huge chance in my book. The trip is a slight worry because he stays a good deal further and Lingfield is a speedy track, but with so many things on the plus side he looks a good thing at tasty odds.
