StevieDay1983
The first round of Super League XXII games are this weekend. What are we thinking lads? chris666, @skyalpha, @kevshat, @Labrador, @harry_rag, and @RLVPMARK, are any of you guys getting involved in the betting this weekend or will you be waiting for things to settle down a bit first? harry_rag
Gone for Greenwood try minutes at 13 with Spreadex in the opener. A hasty bet and a foray into the relevant unknown but price looks ok for a low risk interest. StevieDay1983

I mean, as you said, it's a low risk bet really. So decent to add some excitement into an otherwise redundant game from our perspectives. harry_rag
Goal and (RU) tryscorers are my "specialism" in as much as I have one, at least in terms of probably accounting for more of my bets than any other single type of bet, Dipping my toe into League to see if the same approach works or not. In tonight's Cas/Leigh game I've bought Eden's try minutes at 24 with SPIN. Heard a favourable mention for the prospects of him scoring and I'd equate that to around 11/8 anytime when he's actually 10/11 at most. Has a ratio of a try roughly every other game. Also topped up on Roberts at the eye catching 11/2 anytime with Spreadex, having followed someone in on him at a reasonable looking 3/1 earlier. Eden scoring a try as well. Great shout.
harry_rag
Cheers, late enough to make the return beat fixed odds. Will try and find a bit of value when time allows and see how it plays out.
harry_rag
Quick look at Catalans v Warrington flags a couple of anytime tryscorers who might be worth backing with Betfred. Lineham at 11/10 and Myler at 9/4 Lineham odds on with most firms and Myler, similarly, sub 2/1 and I'm inclined to say the majority are right on both counts. One for a small profit, hopefully both for a decent one. StevieDay1983
harry_rag
Just a Myler try but a reasonable enough profit. Will cast an eye over today's game and try to find a decent looking interest bet.
harry_rag
Waffle at a minimum as KO approaches. Remember, I'm a novice when it comes to betting on tryscorers in this code. Wakefield/Hull: Buy Hull hotshots at 48 (generally available, 25 points per Shaul, Fonua, Griffin or Talanoa try). More appealing than the fixed odds prices and looks ok when 2 tries would edge you into profit. Wakefield hotshots look ok at 39 but I think there's more value in backing them to score anytime at the best available prices. Again, 2 tries puts you in front. I've split my stake thus. 20 each on Johnstone and Jones-Bishop at 15/8, 15 on Lyne at 11/4 and 10 on Miller at 4/1. All with either Spreadex or PP. Good luck if anyone is having any bets on the game.
harry_rag
Only 2 tries in that game, neither from players among the 8 I had an interest in! That makes it a losing first weekend rather than a winning one so the jury's out on whether I should be betting on RL tryscorers. Will press on where time allows but might not be going in so deep on a single game for the foreseeable!
