stanleybright
The Anfield Stadium will host the match between Liverpool FC and Southampton counting for the semi-finals of the EFL Cup. Storyline: Liverpool has been under-fire lately and they must to do their best against Southampton in the EFL Cup. The hosts may have their issues right now and Saturday’s 3-2 invert at home to Swansea was skirting on the bizarre for a side that sees itself as a title contender yet Southampton turning up and sitting in an offer to stick on does not look the way to deal with take. They finished a keep running of four straight defeats in the Premier League with a 3-0 decimation of everybody’s present most loved whipping young men Leicester at the end of the week and putting the brakes on that pleasant little bit of energy could have an extremely negative impact. Liverpool now trail Chelsea by 10 points at the highest point of the table and with that adversary up next in the Premier League, Jurgen Klopp and his side remain on the precarious edge of their season vanishing into the chasm. That implies some undesirable extra weight here and the 1-0 shortfall Klopp appeared to be sufficiently cheerful to acknowledge after the last shriek at St Mary’s out of the blue turns into a great deal more precarious to overcome. Liverpool’s misfortune to Swansea was their first at Anfield in over a year which indicated a spell 25 matches so dropping another in such fast progression would be a significant accomplishment even in this insane period of Merseyside unpredictability. Head-to-head: Team statistics in EFL Cup: Predicted Line-ups: Liverpool: Mignolet, Milner, Klavan, Lovren, Clyne, Henderson, Can, Wijnaldum, Firmino, Lallana, Sturridge Southampton: Forster, Cédric, van Dijk, Yoshida, Bertrand, Romeu, Højbjerg, Ward-Prowse, Tadić, Redmond, Rodriguez. How can you profit from this? Liverpool wants to bounce back at home against Southampton, meaning that: Tip: Home side to win @1,
Tanktop
Odds definately too short. Liverpool 'should' win, but theyve only won once in january - 1-0 against plymouth! Definately missing Manes (at AFCON) assists. The only plus point fo Liverpool is if Van Dijk is out, and theyre waiting until the last minute to check fitness. By the way, i think this should be in the 'UK midweek football' thread. Good luck mate.
