robertob
2.30 Lingfield: Epsom Day @ 11/1 Bet365 This lad looks primed for a huge run. Admittedly more often than not disappointing since getting off the mark in a maiden over CD pretty much a year ago, he finally seems to drop down to a manageable mark as well as down to class 6 for the very first time. It's seems significant that George Bakers is booked for the ride as Mongan & Baker enjoy a 33% strike rate together (36% at Lingfield!). 5.20 Kempton: Dreaming Of Paris @ 15/8 Skybet The filly was quite unlucky not to get off the mark on her debut at Lingfield, though if pushed harder in the closing stages she probably would have got there. It was a wee bit disappointing that she only managed a third place the next time, but not upped in trip to a very suitable 1m around Kempton she looks impossible to oppose, only the wide draw a slight negative. 6.50 Kempton: Paladin @ 8/1 Bet365 Paladin is on a hat-trick, albeit his last two wins came at Southwell in a lower class - nonetheless this looks a huge price, given it'll be only his second start over this trip, after he won over 12f a fortnight ago. It's obviously a different ground at Kempton, but he's already a course winner, though over shorter and his sire has a pretty fine record over CD with his offspring. So Paladin has a fair chance to overcome his new mark here. BillyHills
Jimmy2shoes
Trainer Nicky Henderson sends 4 horses racing 1 for Market Rasen and 3 for Newbury so he could have a good day, if his day does go well the cherry on top might just fall in the hands of Jockey David Bass in the final race on the card at Newbury. Not for a lot of punters but I've always been a huge fan of a good bumper race ''NH Flat'' and many a future star can be found if the time and effort is applied. With 16 runners going for post it's not a race for staking the Rent Money but a small stake wager on Mr Henderson's French import could return a little profit. We don't have much to go on but if you peel back a few layers you will find this (5 year old) grey mare has came from a few big names in the game such as French trainer Andre Fabre & Khaled Abdulla. Showing at the moment at around 8/1 she in my book looks worth a punt in the attempt to find out if she is any good, it would not do any harm on keeping a very close eye on Mr Henderson's other runners before this mare lines up, if his 3 other Jockey's stick in a winner each then a very possible 4 timer would all lie with David Bass in the last. 15:55 Newbury - Pearlesque.
