2.30 Lingfield: Epsom Day @ 11/1 Bet365

This lad looks primed for a huge run. Admittedly more often than not disappointing since getting off the mark in a maiden over CD pretty much a year ago, he finally seems to drop down to a manageable mark as well as down to class 6 for the very first time. It's seems significant that George Bakers is booked for the ride as Mongan & Baker enjoy a 33% strike rate together (36% at Lingfield!).

12.50 Lingfield- Take the Helm. 1pt win 11/2 skybet

This time last year was 2nd in a class 3 over course and distancr off a mark of 88. Has fallen to a winnable mark of 82 however his come from behind style means he often meets trouble in running, as he has the last twice. Is running well and will win soon and I'm determined to be on. This looks as good an opportunity as any.

Newbury 2.55 Horatio Hornblower @ 20/1 sportingbet e/w thanks

Horatio Hornblower....from Nick Williams yard should sail round here as he is a course winner in fact he has won two hurdle races and two chases from 2m to 3m on ground varying from good to heavy , The 9yo last race was round here 18tn days ago over 3m 2f good to soft he made two mistakes and weakened from 4 out to finish 40 lengths behind Potters Cross ,

The yard bring him back in distance as that last race was first time he's ran that far, or the yard where looking for a bit of stamina work and get the handicap down which happened as he's down to his last winning mark 123 as the yard seem to win after he goes 4 or 5 races without a win then wins so today's the day as Lizzie Kelly on and down to mark 123.
