Plumpton 2:50 .Morney Wing @ 12/1 bet365 e/w thanks

Morney Wing.......from Charlie Mann yard the 8yo has won three chases from 2m 3f to 3m on ground varying from soft to heavy with two of those chase wins and three 3rd place finishes in only 12 races coming at this yard as he was previously at Ms Sandra Hughes yard in Ireland before coming over in September 2015,

He ran 30 days ago in a chase at Sandown over 3m 5f good to soft and finished third of 13 runners behind Rocky Creek beaten 2.75 lengths this was only his second time over this distance and both times finishing 3rd , He's up 2lbs for that place finish running off 123 ,

He travels to Plumpton for first time and Jockey Noel Fehily is in saddle for first time too and conditions will be ideal

12.40 Southwell: Treaty of Rome @ 4/1 Bet365

Looks poised for big run, second start after lay off since laving AOB in Ireland where he did well in a Dundalk maiden. LTO first time at Southwell he travelled like a dream taking well to the surface but just run out off gas at the end. Drop to 6f should suit well and on handicap bow a mark of 60 seems reasonable.

2.50 Plumpton

WOODFORD COUNTY @ 20/1 Coral

This time last year was finishing 5th in the Welsh National off a mark of 129, 9lb lower today and 5lb lower than his last win which was over the marathon trip at Exeter.  Has been disappointing since but most of those runs have been on ground faster than ideal, todays softer surface will be welcome.  The Hobbs stable historically does well at this time of year and has already had a winner and second on todays card.  Regular claimer takes off a useful 10lb.
