BET365 - Absolute Chancing Charlatans

8 posts in this topic

This is the best one I have heard in a long time and the audacity they have shown in respect to this is absolutely off the charts.....

A few days ago I bet on a football match which was displayed as 33 minutes gone. After 37 minutes or so all betting was suspended and it reverted to half time. The bet was requiring 2 more first half corners at odds of 5/4.

They have investigated and they have said I placed my bet on the 42nd minute and that there was a display issue with the time. What is laughable is that I have now taken this to senior management and they claim that the odds and bet are absolutely correct.

What this actually means is that they want me to believe that they intentionally offered odds of 5/4 for there to be 2 corners in a 3 minute period. LOL

What I have highlighted to them is the following:

  • They dont offer 1st half asian corners in ANY match with 42mins gone as it always suspends by around the 39/40th minute.
  • For there to be 2 corners in a 3 minute period the odds would have been 50 times greater than what they claim they are.

Its plainly obvious to see that they have made an error in how long they thought had elapsed and are attempting to blag there way out of it.

Whats peoples advice? Do you believe I should try IBAS or just go down the legal route right away?

In summary, does anyone fancy me giving them odds of 5/4 for 2 match corners in 3 minutes, or better still who would like odds of 4/7 for there not to be 2 corners in 3 minutes? I reckon I would take the latter and become a millionaire relatively quick.

All houses have this kind of issues, the best you can do is negociate a lower value and tell it you'll not report to betting sites. And then leave the house. Use a broker, they're most reliable when it comes to paying, and the rate of problems is way lower.

I'm surprised they didn't use their brains and say "odds corrected to 10/1" or something. Then there would be nothing you could do as they are covered by all their terms. Saying the odds are correct is ridiculous. I would send them another few emails - but don't be rude/offensive with them. They might void the bet as a goodwill gesture. To be fair, i think they should refund the stakes as there is no way you should have been able to place the bet in the first place - they suspend the market around 41 i think.

What I want to know fundamentally, is how we put these bastards out of business.

And by that I mean at all levels, bets, government policy etc etc

I would happily run a bookmakers at low profit and make money from advertisers. Fair odds and good morales. Free counciling/addiction services for EVERY fucking member.

These companies are absolute parasites on society right up there with scummy bankers.

Good luck mate.
