Brazil GP

Its a tall order for Lewis Hamilton to retain his World title despite putting his Mercedes on Pole for the Brazilian GP on Sunday (4pm UK time)

In 9 previous attempts Hamilton has failed to win in Brazil and thats the very least requirement this time round. He's 19pts behind his team mate Nico Rosberg with just 2 races left and Hamilton knows that Rosberg doesnt even have to win any of the last two GP's in Brazil or Abu Dhabi. 

Hamilton can be backed at 7/2 with Betfair to pull off the miracle and you would have to think a Rosberg retirement is needed for that to become a possibility. Rosberg is 2/7 with Skybet.

10 Year Stats

The last two years have seen a much needed boost to the classified drivers stats, only 2 drivers that started the race have failed to finish. (We only had 19 actual starters last year). We have had no safety car for 3 years either so a whole new Brazilian GP compared to the one that we used to have. It's somewhat surprising therefore that its 4/11 with Skybet for a Safety Car. The first corner is still the scary bit at Interlagos!

Its 5/6 each of two for the Classified drivers this week generally but you can get Evens with Paddy Power for over 18.5 finishers and that has to be the call, lets just hope for a clean first corner.

There is no value backing Hamilton to win at around 4/7, he really should manage the victory without too much pressure from Rosberg, he will surely be taking it nice and easy in behind and he will provide a nice buffer to the rest. He looks like a good thing but there are better 4/7 shots out there.

The battle for 3rd is much more exciting and Max Verstappen is my choice at 11/10 to get the better of Raikkonen, Vettel and Ricciardo. Best to back him in the 'podium' betting  (rather than w/o big two) so we get added insurance if anything happens to any of the Mercs.

Elsewhere i like Hulkenberg at odds against to hit the top 6, he's a good driver and goes well here at Brazil and is the only realistic option outside of the top 3 teams of Merc, Red Bull and Ferrari.
