BillyHills 5454 Posted 17 September 2016 6:23pm Singapore GP Stats Street circuits are generally good for backing a Safety Car and a low number of finishers but at Singapore we have had a safety car in every race since it started so its a 1/7 shot with most bookies. If you fancy backing the 'unders' this week you have a choice of either 1/2 for under 18.5 or around Evens for under 17.5 finishers. Personally i would probably go for the lower number as 5 failures is about average around here. Rosberg is on pole and 10/11 to lead all the way while he is 5/2 to win the championship which is pretty good value if your in his camp. Hamilton is long odds on but is looking a bit shaley at the minute. His starting has been awful and that has to be right on this tight circuit. He's 9/2 with Hills to get himself out of trouble from 3rd on the grid. Red Bull is the obvious danger to Mercedes and while Ricciardo doesn't appeal at 11/4 to win the race maybe Verstappen at 5/6 to get on the podium is more of an attractive bet this week.
