Can PSG bounce back after their 3-1 loss to Monaco last round? Will Guingamp, Monaco, and Nice continue their unbeaten starts to the season? Can Lyon pick up the pace on the front three? There are also a number of evenly balanced ties in Ligue 2. A lot to consider in this latest round of French matches.

France Ligue2: Bourg - Le Havre

Bourg-en-Bresse are back to their free and easy ways, play a very open style, are comfortable on the ball when in possession, quite pleasing on the eye and look vulnerable when defending, in other words, they are fun to watch ! Last season their games produced an average 2.79 goals and only relegated Creteil conceded more. They met a pair of teams with a defend first, ask questions later approach in their two opening games and it took a while to return to normal service, but their last five starts have seen 20 goals with both scoring in each and any time they face a team who will not sit back, we should see goals and plenty of them. The two league meetings with Le Havre last season produced nine goals with eight for HAC and it is hard to see the visitors coming with just a point in mind. They have lost their way after a great start to their season and they are now five league and cup games without a win, through which they have conceded 10 goals in three home starts (!) and we are talking about the pre season promotion favourites here.

There is no doubt that Le Havre are the stronger squad, but BEBP probably have a little more confidence right now and do play with a bit of a swagger, both to score........1-3 feels about right, but best value has to be ........

Just 4 points separating the top half of the table in Ligue 1 makes this a very tough division to call. Last season it was all about backing PSG to win big but they have started inconsistently so far. Monaco, Bordeaux, and St Etienne are being offered at short odds which are dangerous. Toulouse being listed so short against the unbeaten Guingamp is also risky. Do you dare bet on French football this week?

Ligue 2 is not much better. Far too many games that are too close in value for an outright. Might be best to opt for a BTTS accumulator here.

Hi there.

Stevie, don't forget that Lille was smatched by Monaco last week. They are weaker and weaker year after year. For this season, they lost Boufal who was their best weapon. Enyama is not in a great form, defense was the last quality of Lille, and now it's falling down. Obviously, Lorient is much more sexy with Moukandjo and Waris in front of attack. As conclusion, it's a no bet match.

How win money with Ligue 1 ?

Monaco is underfire, I can't see a team like Rennes which is still in construction for me, resist to a realistic team of Monaco. Gourcuff, dad and son, may make a good season but it's too early.

Bordeaux, with their new coach and the arrival of Menez is an interesting team to follow. At home, against a poor Angers for the moment, it's a victory.

Last choice for me is a result for Metz away from home. OK Dijon beat Lyon and what else ? We saw that Lyon is not ready (some disagreements between Aulas and Genesio for me).

Metz can run on their current form. Double chance for me and a fun with Erding scorer.

Not so bad... (Erding missed a penalty :eyes)

Quote for next run on tuesday :

A large succes for PSG

A surprise with TFC travelling to Lille

Metz make a result at home against Bordeaux (red card for Nolan(Fw), Sertic(Df) injured during the training just before the match, Menez replaced earlier in the match, Toulalan injured)

Nice comments there, @FCNA. Feast your eyes on those selections above. What's tickling your fancy? @immortal-- questions how long Monaco's winning streak can go on. Can super Mario inspire Nice to be the team to beat them? Is 3.10 too short for a home win there?

Bastia Nancy 1@ 2.35 eurobet

I find some value on this odd for HW.bastia always build their championship among their fortress at le furiani, Nancy has 5 missings among misfield and defence.Bastia has however atill to win at home.this year and has never draw a game also but I shspect theY should find a way to overcome Nancy that has not a lot of potential IMO. They will defend with 10 men and counter yes.let s see how ot goes...Allez les bluess...stake 4 i n this one

Hi there,

have a look to my bets for this week-end.

First of all, Monaco can't loose at home after been smatched by Nice. I can't believe it. After a half surprise yesterday with the victory of TFC against PSG, they have such an occasion to let PSG 3 pts behind. Angers is on a good run, nevertheless, home victory for Monaco to well prepare CL. And have a look on TFC, this team has the Dupraz's spirit since he saved them from relegation last year.

Secondly, let's talk about Nice and their Super Mario (he has already his sing in the stadium). What a good choice for Nice. What a sadness for me because he was proposed to FCN before Nice, we all know that Nantes is completly unable to score and it's during... Return to Nancy-Nice. Whow imagine a defeat of Nice faced to Nancy ? Double chance for Nice is a good bet, Nancy is favourite, it's just a joke. To go further, victory for Nice, handicap, and a goal for Super Mario !

I will stay away from Bordeaux, they are so unpredictitable, so irregulate. As you want.

So, last bet with ASSE at home against LOSC which are absolutly out. France is waiting for seeing Antonetti fired. I think it will be a short victory, may be on on extra time as usual for ASSE. But certainly a victory in Le Chaudron, the main reason is the current outform of Lille.

A+
