2.10 Bangor

Moonday Sun 6/4 Bet365

Nigel Twiston-Davies is in decent form at the moment and he sends Moonday Sun to Bangor to try and get his head in front over hurdles after two fairly decent efforts so far since going over timber. He was a 70-80 rated flat horse for various trainers and not one you would automatically think was a natural stayer or hurdler. His firm so far is pretty solid and a reproduction of his 3rd last tim out behind Birch Hill would be good enough to win one of these weak novice races.

6.25 Killarney - Hibiscus @ 5/2 Bet365

Really liking Hibiscus against the Weld favourite who ran a good race on debut. You would always back an O'Brien horse to find more 2nd time out though especially this one who cost a massive 625000gns and will relish the step up in trip. 5/2 very generous.

340 York Yalta 1 pt win 10/1 skybet

Relished the drop to 5f last time out and confidence from the stable was enough for him to be supplemented for this. Two year olds get a lot of weight to compensate for their inexperience. Their record over the last ten years is respectable. 7 runners, 1 win, 2 places.

York 3.40 - Goldream - win at 14/1 bog bet365

G1 Nunthorpe - 5f cavalry charge

My selection is a dual group one winner and a 5F specialist from a yard which has a great reputation for training sprinters

Was over in Dubai over the winter then came back after a break to finish a close up 2nd in a group 2 at Goodwood. That should have 'blown away the cobwebs' and I'm expecting a big run today

Goes well in big fields and on good to firm ground. My main concern is that he's perhaps better on a stiffer track
