Club Tijuana
Great start of Xolos in Apertura 2017, which has see them improved on the relegation table, and get to the top of the table in this season. The team knows they need two good seasons to avoid being relegated to Ascenso MX and they are doing a good job.

At home the team has showed great defending and FW Dayron Moreno continues to display his great capabilities scoring. Strong in home, 3 goals average and none received Tijuana is in a very good position for this match.

Leon
A very bad start of the season have them winless in 4 matches, alt ought they had good playing against Pumas on away, despite losing the match, and a scoreless draw in home against Necaxa. The team has three consecutive matches without scoring, which seems could stretch at least for one more match.

Last match important players got injured, with coach Tena having to use the three changes due to those injures, and the team not able to train as usual due to heavy raining in their city, the environment on the team is not the perfect for a comeback.

GK William Yarborough has stated there is no place for excuses. FW Mauro Boselli has expressed that the locker room does not want the coach fired or any internal problem.

Prediction

Last 3 Leon has not been able to beat Tijuana. The abnormal week of Leon and the changes in the lineup, together with Tijuana great form, should deliver a home win.

Necaxa
Winless during this season the team has begun their participation on Liga MX in a disastrous way after being in Ascenso MX last season. The reinforcement that arrived during the summer has not performed as expected and the results are not coming. Highlights that since April when they were still in Ascenso MX they have not won at home.

Tijuana
Dominating Liga MX, the team has a streak of three victories, with their lone defeat against Puebla 3-2. During midweek the team played against Lobos BUAP in Copa MX, the team used an alternative squad and obtain a 1-1 draw, which allows the team to rest their main squad.

FW Dayro Moreno continues his good scoring streak and scored last Liga MX match, and should continue in this match. In last match the team did not dominate the match for long stretches and a draw was the most probable result but they get the victory.

Prediction
Expect a tense match, Necaxa needs the victory and being at home should motivate them; Meanwhile Tijuana has a comfortable position and I expected them to counterattack.Not an easy match, but in a level ball handicap, I sense Tijuana has a good chance to grab something as they have been performing better.

Puebla vs America

Winless in their last three matches, Puebla will encounter America trying to return to victory.  The team has a streak of five matches without defeat at Cuauthemoc Stadium, last a victory against Dorados in Copa MX, still they have not face a strong team here. Their season has started in a very irregular way.

Important absence in Puebla, as MF Toledo is one of the players of Liga MX that provide good movement to the ball and the player with more pass effectiveness.

America
During the last five games, the team has lacked consistency as they have alternate victories between defeat and draw. Their performance has allowed them to be on the upper side of the table.

The team has a strong squad to deliver better performance. FW Silvio Romero and FW Darwin Quintero are expected to score soon. DF Erick Pimentel returns to the squad after serving a one-game suspension.  

America faces their arch rival next week against Chivas, therefore a good result in this match would see them reach there in a better way.

Prediction
Expect a match with many offensive plays as this are two of the best offensives and their defenses are not among the best, so it could be a high scoring match. America arrives as favorites for this match, and their squad is clearly superior to that of Puebla. Puebla needs the victory, which could lead to open spaces that America for sure will take advantage of them.

Queretaro vs Necaxa

In their last five matches in Liga MX,the team has just obtained a victory against Puebla back in July. From there the team seems to have lost the offensive power and lost their first match in Liga MX against Leon on away.

In midweek the team played Copa MX, but they send an alternative squad so the main eleven is rested and ready for this match. 

The team returns home, where they are unbeaten and have only allowed 1 goal in 3 matches. Coach Victor Manuel Vucetich considers this to be a good chance to take home advantage and take 3 points.

Necaxa
Their return to liga MX has not been very good the team has not won yet, still remarks that they have obtained 4 draws so they have been able to collect point, but there are not enough for a team that first objective is to avoid relegation to Ascenso MX. Their forwards have not been able to score during this season. 

The team have failed to produce more on offensive which have them leave points on home to Pumas and Tijuana, both great results at home, but on away the team has just not showed that and have lost their last two away matches.

Necaxa is preparing for changes if the situation is not improved as during the week they present a new sports director that will have to make decisions if the situation continues as it is. 

I do not see Necaxa getting to victory here, next match in home against Santos seems as a better opportunity for that.

Prediction
Necaxa should focus on at least getting a point here, with two points that will be very cautious in defence, Queretaro should dominate the match and get the best scoring chances, and return to the victory path with probable goals of Emmanuel Villa. The need of Necaxa to get points should provoke them to leave open spaces as the match proceeds, as a draw would not be of much use, spaces that Queretaro should capitalize from.

Veracruz vs Pachuca

A winless streak of five matches, Veracruz has been very irregular, on home they have collect every possible result in they three matches, last match home at halftime they had the lead, but Toluca came back and claimed a 2-2 draw.  Remarks the draw they obtained last match against Tigres UANL, still the team was only counterattacking, something they could repeat in front of their own fans, which are not used to the team doing that on home. 

GK Pedro Gallese logged many hours flying as went to Bolivia and Peru for Peru National Team duty and then back to Mexico, he is the GK with most saves of the league.

 

Despite having a fair offensive, the one that most scoring chances generate, the defence needs to improve as they are the second worst defence at home.

Pachuca

Lost last two away matches, the last against Tigres UANL, where Veracruz was able to get a draw. Still Pachuca showed offensive dedication and scored twice and had the same scoring chances as the home side,  they just where not very good at defence in that match.

They took notice and improved as in the following two home matches, allowing one goal, now they embark on away, where the team had just won one in three matches.

FW Urretaviscaya is the striker with more shoots made, and second in assists.

Match

Last four matches between them Pachuca claimed the victory, last two of them on away.  In those last four matches, only 1 goal for Veracruz. Veracruz can not relay to counterattack as they need the points for the relegation table, together than being in home. Pachuca also does not counterattack, an attractive match this will be.

 

Prediction

Veracruz will not make things easy, as they are at home, but here Pachuca arrives as favourite, with good form against them and should obtain something from this match that maintains them on the top part of the table.
