2.40 Newton Abbot

Invocation 6/4 Bet365

Jump racing returns after a brief break and the best bet on the Newton Abbot card looks to be Invocation in the juvenile hurdle. Trained by Alan King the 3yo has had two efforts over timber so far and showed improved form last time out and should be able to beat Recognition on these terms. The Henderson horse won at Market Rasen on his debut but now carries a penalty and was not as highly rated on the flat as the selection so has a stiff task to follow up.

Beverley 5.35 Bond Bombshell (3/1 ladbrokes / wh)

This Beverley race is a class 5 over 5 furlongs on good to firm ground and this is significant because Bond Bomshell has only ever won 3 races; all were here at Beverley in class 5-6 over 5 furlongs on good to firm. She has 100% win and place strike rate with those conditions here, having run 4 times here and finishing second on the 1 ocassion that she didn't win

2.10 NA - Time and Again - EW at 16/1 bog wm hill

Maiden hurdle

My horse comes out 3rd on RPR of those that have run and has 2 seconds in hurdles to his name from last year

Lengthy absence to overcome but his best have all come after breaks of a couple of months or so and I'm hoping he's just best fresh

9.10 Kempton
I tipped up Mr Lando last time out in the first time blinkers when he got a soft lead, he didn’t have a lot to spare that day a 3lb rise is fair but has never won off a mark this high. He isn’t the only pace angle in this race and is drawn out in the car park which is very unhelpful.
Tingo In The Tale looks the safest option in this handicap, he arrives here fit from jumps. Easy to write off those runs as has never really performed over hurdles. Last seen on the flat over CD in March when a solid 2nd. He likes to sit prominent or make all the running and should have a good chance from stall 6 and last win was off 12lb higher so is dangerously well handicapped at present.

1pt win Tingo In The Tale 5/1 coral

6.20 Bath

DYLLAN @ 15/2 Betway

A Bath runner for Ruth Carr? only twice has she sent a horse to Bath and one won.  Won well at Redcar and this trip in between 5-6f might suit.  Jockey booking also interesting with Tom Marquand never riding for the stable before as far as I can see.

Beverley 5.00 Salvatore Fury @ 9/2 skybet win thanks

Salvatore Fury......from Keith Dalgleish yard the 6yo has been a winner of six races from 5f to 6f on good to firm and good ground and on the all-weather but last win was in April 2015 over 6f at Lingfield AW in class 5. Since he won that class 5 race he was placed in class 4 racing where he's found it difficult to find a win although did find three 2nd place finishes with his last 2nd place came 6 days ago at Haydock 6f GF was hampered at start but got back in race at 2f pole and was ridden entering final furlong to challenge where he had every chance when hung left last 75yds, no extra near finish, With yard bring him back out so soon and dropping back to 5f and on conditions he likes he could find that win again with Joe Fanning in saddle and back in class 5 and well down in ratings
