StevieDay1983
Right lads, it's finally here! The opening weekend of the Football League. Fulham stunned the majority of us with a gutsy 1-0 win over Newcastle last night. Today and tomorrow see more action. Let's hear your accas for the next couple of days. Here are mine... Championship Birmingham and Cardiff DRAW Ipswich to beat Barnsley Nottingham Forest to beat Burton QPR and Leeds DRAW Sheffield Wednesday and Aston Villa DRAW Odds: 161.74 with Betfred League One Bolton and Sheffield United DRAW Bradford to beat Port Vale Millwall to beat Oldham Coventry to beat Swindon Walsall to beat AFC Wimbledon Odds: 52.37 with Betfred League Two Cambridge to beat Barnet Grimsby to beat Morecambe Plymouth to beat Luton Portsmouth to beat Carlisle Stevenage and Crewe DRAW Odds: 54.09 with bet365 Some controversial selections there with a few draws but I think there are a few games where the teams cannot be separated. StevieDay1983
Not bad odds at all for an eight fold with seven home wins. I think the Northampton one is the biggest risk. It will be interesting to see how they cope without Chris Wilder there.
Kenton Schweppes
Keeping it low key with a 4 fold today Norwich 6/5 away at Blackburn Huddersfield 11/10 home to Brentford (think my heart is ruling my head here) Forest 19/20 home to newly promoted Burton Albion who are probably in for a massive wake up call today Millwall 8/13 at home to a fairly unprepared Oldham Pays 13/1 in total. StevieDay1983
Really good odds for a four fold there Kenton. Huddersfield dividing opinion the floor. Some really backing them to progress well this year with the signings they've made but others thinking it won't work. I also think those odds on a Norwich victory at Blackburn are decent. Blackburn being one of my tips to struggle. You didn't fancy pushing it and adding a fifth in there did you?
Sir Puntalot
Guess what folks? You'll be able to build your own accas right here on PL in the future, I currently have Scotty from Star Trek in the engineering room as we speak. A good start though, a return on the first day of the season!! Norwich were too good not to back at that price, Blackburn are going down, I said that before the season started and today has just confirmed my suspicions. The Forest result was closer than I expected and when we (Huddersfield) conceded an equalizer in the 79th minute, I thought my bet was blown but we re-took the lead almost immediately. Great start to the season betting wise. Sir Puntalot and StevieDay1983
