Rory McIlroy has never won the Irish Open and it will be tough to do so this week as the tournament raises money for his foundation. He should have a busy schedule of commitments away from the course so his focus might not be entirely on playing. Shane Lowry won his national title in 2009 and has taken his career to a new level since but he is also ignored for betting purposes in favour of players with a better profile in the context of the K Club in County Kildare that stages the tournament.
