Probably not, Pliskova wasn't moving at all against her, Vesnina should be much better than that. astute

CzechPunter
Back B.Fratangelo/R.Gasquet - Over 3.5 sets for a 7/10 stake at 3.00 with Paddy Power Back Gilles Simon (-1.5 sets) to beat Guido Pella for a 7/10 stake at 1.74 with Unibet Back Viktor Troicki (-1.5 sets) to beat Dusan Lajovic for a 7/10 stake at 1.74 with Unibet Small profit on Tuesday with Nara and Anderson winning at nice odds, much better than Monday, but hoping for more. These three I like for Wednesday - Troicki and Simon should both be far too strong for Lajovic and Pella, while Fratangelo definitely has enough to win a set off Gasquet with his serve and big follow-ups. He's not as hopeless on clay as it looks like imo. Full preview here: http://punts.pl/bQvRnI radicaly and astute

owenclass
Day four John Isner vs Kyle Edmund Over 42.5 games 10/11 paddy power I think Isner is going to be in a tough match against a much improved opponent who had a great win in the first round, and on a surface that he is not the comfortable on, he should lose a set. I do fancy some sets to be close so we could see quite a few tie breaks in the match Edited May 25, 2016 by owenclass CzechPunter and TheBeast
four-leaf
Simona Halep (-7.0) to beat Zarina Diyas for a 8/10 stake at 2.02 with Pinnaclesports Simona tought young Nao Hibino a lesson last time out and I think this one will be just as easy. Carina Witthoeft could have beaten Zarina by exploiting her weak serves but she did'nt serve well enough and that coupled with Zarina being rather persistent in rallies made her able to turn the match. I guarrantee Simona will serve well enough and in the rallies she will blow Zarina off the court. She's done it twice before on hard and grass and could easily do it again on this surface where Simona is at her best. On hard in Austalian open 6-1 6-4 to Simona and in Wimbledon 6-3 6-0 both in 2014 and like I've said this surface is Simonas favourite and not Zarinas favourite which is hard. astute
Gabasvila roughly 2/1 to beat Paire is another fancy. Has a decent games on clay, coupled with terrible attitude of Paire. Thoughts? Being a little cautious as not been around past few days so if a player I could back has injury etc then this gives me that insight. Thanks in advance. janekda
Lucic - Osaka 3.8 Yes, Lucic is favorite no doubt. She played well in Strasbourg but was it real performance of Lucic or not motivated players against her? Her results on FO aren't noticeable. Osaka defeated Ostapenko with similar game like Lucic but more various. So I think she can play with Lucic too. Safarova - Golubič 4.70 I'm fan of Safarova but I must admit her level is too far even from her average performance . Win over Dyatchenko is not a scale. Dyatchenko has really nothing she went to Paris only for prize money. And Golubic is mentally strong. She plays very annoying tennis and has good results with Czech players all her career. Her weakness is serve. But Lucy struggles all her career with return and now much more. As for me fair odd is 2.8 for Golubic. janekda
Hercog - Strycova 3.30 What the hell! I really don't understand. Strycova won in main draw of FO after 11 years and she is so big favourite against clay specialist? Hercog won on clay both matches with Strycova. Yes they were in better days of Polona and Bara is in the peak of hear career. They were tight but Bara has many matches very tight even with huge favorites. Now Bara won against poor Hradecka not too easy. Polona is not so good in FO but as a clay specialist with massive topspin forehand against small and unpatiatent Bara has good weapon in play. Razzano - Kasatkina 3.50 Razzano, her form, her results in FO against young hopefull but unexperienced Darya. And Razzano with her unsport behaviour can disgust Darya very easy. When I see Benoit Paire every single time the question that pops into my mind is... Why in the god's name is this guy playing tennis? Gabashwili, if plays anything like he did against Young, should blow Paire away. astute and janekda
astute
Similar thoughts Beast. If it comes to an out and out scrap then Grab will do him. Also Grab first round was straight forward in contrast to Paire. I think this will be my play today, odds of almost 2/1 more than appeal. dinero
Hello, betting people V. Williams - Chirico (26.05)Pick: Chirico to win @ 2,37 (Bet365) I'm by no means a tennis guru and haven't followed that sport too much (but lately it's getting more and more interesting for me). Mostly bet on soccer. BUT I watched Venus play against Estonian youngster yesterday who put a good fight against the world no 11. Although Kontaveit played well, I feel the match was so close because Venus just didn't move much and it seems her leg is not in a very good condition either. Considering that Chirico is having a good run at the moment and Venus is struggeling with her leg injury, I think 2,37 is a good bet. New in the forum and especially in tennis betting, so don't be too harsh on me TheBeast, astute and CzechPunter

kevinjoh
With Murray playing 5 sets in 2 opening rounds, it would not be big surprise to see him lose before final, not against Karlovic and probably Isner, but against probably Nishikori it would be worth a bet
CzechPunter
He'll have a day off now, so plenty of time to recover and re-focus. The match against Karlovic will be important, however, losing two sets against the Croat would be horrible.
astute
Terrible day Czech. I fancied shelby and gabasvila but couldn't get bets on and ended up laying safrova, a bet I didn't even fancy. CzechPunter
Back Stephane Robert to beat Alexander Zverev for a 7/10 stake at 4.00 with Bet365 Back Victor Estrella to beat Feliciano Lopez for a 7/10 stake at 3.20 with Unibet Fancy these two underdogs tomorrow, as the odds are just too big imo - but, then again, I'm not really reading things well at the moment. Zverev has played a lot of tennis recently and he's not very experienced in the Grand Slams, so the inspired Robert should be able to do some damage, especially after that nice win over Anderson. Meanwhile, Lopez hasn't been all that great recently and he actually has a 0-2 record against Estrella, so he looks worth opposing as well. owenclass
Day five Stephane Robert vs Alexander Zverev Over 33.5 games 8/11 paddy power This will be a tough match for Zverev as his opponent can play on clay, also with the crowd behind him and Zverev playing a lot of tennis recently it wont so easy so i expect him to lose a set Edited May 26, 2016 by owenclass CzechPunter and TheBeast

astute
Looking at today and in dire need of luck after yesterday. Garcia Lopez 4/1 over Thiem interests me. Garcia lopez has made fourth round before coming up against Thiam who having won a recent tournament would have played more matches. I also question Thiem's concentration at times. Anyone think he has a genuine chance?

But yeah, imo he does have a chance, when looking at the underdogs yesterday I dug deeper with Estrella, Robert and Garcia-Lopez, decided to go with just Estrella and Robert in the end, but GGL is certainly not hopeless either. I'm just worried that he doesn't have what it takes mentally, he folded very quickly against Ferrer twice recently just because he had a bigger name facing him. astute
