He can be taken on at 9/4 which is quite short. Rooster Byron won on his debut over hurdles when giving 15lbs to Never Again who has franked the form since, particularly when beating Joseph O'Brien very promising looking Slowmotion. He disappointed on his next two starts but was only beaten by a very progressive looking horse on his latest start in a handicap and he's shown enough to me that he can progress from a mark of 111. He started his hurdling career at Kempton last November and made a winning debut by beating Lettheriverrundry by a length and a quarter. He may have been a touch fortunate that day as the runner-up made a mess of the last but even so it was a pleasing effort. We never saw him again until mid March when he went back to Kempton and was no match for the well regarded Brain Power from the Nicky Henderson yard. He ran a bit free that day and was a bit buzzy after his absence. This looks like a drop in grade and the track here at Ludlow will suit being nice and sharp just like Kempton. This extra distance should suit on paper and the ground looks ideal as she disappointed on soft ground. She knows how to win having earned 3 successes from seven starts under rules The current favourite, Brise Vendeene keeps finishing 2nd and 3rd (8 times from 9 runs) and looks one paced and could be vulnerable. He was then trust straight into a listed race at Doncaster and ran respectably when 5th and only beaten 3 and half lengths by the 102 rated Dhahmaan. Won similar type of race at Newbury last year by eight lengths, though bombed out subsequently in Listed company and has to overcome career highest mark.
