7.00 Dundalk - Hes Our Music @ 14/1 Stan James

Was beaten 3/4L on his penultimate start here at Dundalk in a race working out particularly well and you could argue that he was actually the best horse in the race. He set off quite fast in front but stuck on well unlike Strait Of Zanzibar who folded tamely under the strong pace. That horse went on to win next time out so was likely in good form making Hes Our Music's run from the front that day all the more impressive. You have to excuse a poor run at Cork last weekend but that was over a trip too far on heavy ground which he would have hated so back over a suitable trip at Dundalk he should be competitive.

240 Wetherby: Wolf Sword 7/4 Betway

Fell on first run for Sue Smith, would have finished second and a big improvement on what he had shown over fences so far. Has been raised 6lbs for future races so has to run today really and is very well handicapped compared to the top one from the Lucinda Russell yard who has been raised nearly a stone for winning a weak race at Kelso.

1.50 Newb - Fly du Charmil - EW at 16/1 bog wm hill

Novice hurdle

Only 6 runners here so 2 places up for a return........but that's the same percentage as 3 places in a 9 runner race........and I'm getting a quarter odds !

My selection looked useful winning his bumper here but flopped badly on his hurdles debut when favourite for a competitive Ascot race. I'll give him another chance after a good break to recover from that run........he was sweating up, and failed to pick up when asked to get into the race.

The front two in the market both have penalties. The odds on Fav should win but the 2nd Fav could be vulnerable under a double penalty

18:45 Wolverhampton: Celestial Dancer @ 12/1 Ladbrokes e/w thanks

Celestial Dancer....Michael Appleby yard the 4yo has been placed twice in 11 starts with both those placed races coming at Southwell 2nd and Wolverhampton 2nd both over 1m 4f in January and February this year ,

Her last run was 9 days ago at Southwell 1m 3f when 5th beaten 3.75 lengths by Frosty The Snowman , Celestial Dancer was ridden by young Josephine Gordon claiming 5lbs , She goes off 47 mark again but has got a stronger jockey in Andrew Mullen in saddle who can drive her home like he did in that 2nd place at Southwell
