Had a great T20WC this year with many a bets cashing out...... Made a lot of profit so now its time to take a little bit more risk..... I have just played these....

New Zealand to have highest opening partnership @ 1.90

Martin Guptill to beat Alex Hales @ 1.90

Both these bets because of a disastrous Hales form.......

Joe Root to be top Eng Batter @ 4.00 this is a big match for a big match player and he is the best player of spin in the English team

Santner to go 32+ in player performance @ 1.90..... I know I know the pitch won't spin a lot and all that but Santner has surprised us through the tournament and he has more than just spin in his artillery..... Fingers crossed on this one....

Fader I post these plays especially because I want to know your thoughts on my thoughts......

Thank you guys

Would agree on alot of those mate. Highest partnership will depend on Kane but good bet probably as we're bound to lose Hales early again. Guptil vs Hales is one I was looking at so again like that.

Santner should cover that really. Personally, I wanted Butler but he wasn't there. I like sodhi to do well here too with his spin

All in all, you should get a few winners there.

Windies to beat India at 2/1 with Coral

To date, both of these two sides have lost one game, but there can be no doubt which has been the most convincing. India have struggled into the semi-finals, but can the Windies stop them from winning the competition.

In every other format of the game, this article would be two words long; India win. In T20 it’s a different story. Despite their continued decline, this is the format where the Windies can be most dangerous. In fact, in tournaments all over the world, they tend to have the most dangerous players. Many of their players are vastly experienced in big IPL games too. Kieron Pollard has been a massive miss for them, but in Dwayne Bravo, they have one of the best players in the world.

Losing Sunil Narine to a ban has been another blow, but they have the spinners to cause problems, with Samuel Badree one of the surprise performers of the tournament. Their big game players include the Gayle Storm himself, who is almost capable of carrying them to the final single-handed. He’s that destructive. Andre Russell, one of the hot tickets in T20 cricket, has been allowed to play. He’s another explosive player who could go huge.

Much can be made of their frustrating loss to Afghanistan, but in reality, they had already qualified and rested their most deadly batsman. In fact they are more likely to win here on the back of that decision. If Gayle shows up, they’ve got it.

India have been largely disappointing throughout, but they were offered some hope in the winner takes all encounter against Australia. Virat Kohli got runs, and he’s a top three batter in the world.

As yet, Rohit Sharma has disappointed on the biggest stage of all, but Kohli is the true superstar, especially when chasing a total. It proves he has the mentality for the massive pressure encounters. This will be one, and India will need him.

The problem for the hosts is their lack of players in form. Too many haven’t contributed, and they have struggled in nearly every game. The Windies will put them under pressure from ball one, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a low score from Dhoni’s men.

The West Indies are available at 2/1 with Coral.

As for the top batsman bet, Chris Gayle has batted twice and scored one hundred. When you put it like that he looks a big price at 9/4 with Skybet. Having been rested, the most destructive force there is will be keen to show the world he’s ready to lead his side to a final. If the deck is at all benile, he could make a mess of Bumrah and co.

Alternatively, there is value on Andre Russell, who is yet to go big. The Jamaican seamer hits it miles and can be hard to bowl to in the middle order. If he comes off, this price will look mad. He’s provided success before, and 12/1 could be a dream here with Paddy Power.

As for India, the hosts and a side that’s packed with quality. Batting down to 8, with a mix of hitters and finishers, they know the conditions inside and out.

They will again be led by the master, MS Dhoni. He’s still the best finisher in the game, and his more considered captaincy could be key to success. Runs aren’t always easy to come by in India, so a willingness to strangle sides could land in his favour.
I’m backing the Windies to put the squeeze on India, so MS Dhoni looks an attractive price to be top India batter at 11/1 with Paddy Power.

Agree, West Indies are great value, whether they win or not. Interesting, though that much like the England game yesterday, these two played in a warm-up friendly and India won. Sharma though, on that day was outstanding.

5pts Over 15.5 sixes in the match 4/5 Skybet
2pts Windies to win and get the most Sixes 11/4 Skybet
2pts Sharma top batsman India 11/4 Skybet

I'm taking a bigger price Windies to win with the highest sixes. Aswell as there to be over 15 of them. On this ground there have been 19 & 22 in the last two matches so with the depth of batting you'd expect something similar. Sharma got a big score when these played there friendly and he has to come good one day so I'm going to chance him being there top batsman today. I'll also be looking at Pandya/Bumrah as top bowlers for India.

Why are India such big favourites?

1. They are the hosts and generally do well in big matches

2.Windies just lost to Afghanistan. Now many people might be of the opinion that it was just a lucky break for the Afghans but it really exposed Windies' weakness under pressure

3. Virat Kohli :)

Being a proud Indian that I am I will agree to disagree on that Windies bet.... One of us will win today ;)

Rohit Sharma looks really good though.. He plays for the Mumbai Indians as well as the Mumbai Ranji team and knows these conditions like the back of his hand..... And also its about time he played a mammoth inning..... 99% on this with you just waiting for the toss.....

And I won't say gud luck because I want India to win :D

I love India and have wanted an India V England final from the start. I also have Kohli/India at 20/1 so if India win I will be very happy also. My bet in that respects is more value to be honest. I just hope Kohli can hit a decent knock to keep him top of the batsman list going into the final.

I followed you quite big on the sixes bet but that hasn't got going at all.

Yeah, pretty poor boundary scoring considering you could bat an orange over it looking at how small it is. If India can manage 6 (they have 4) then Windies will be chasing and will need the sixes. Gayle got 11 against England alone remember.

4pts Windies to beat England

It’s the T20 World Cup Final, and after just three weeks of games, we have the two best sides battling it out for the crown, but will it be Darren Sammy or Eoin Morgan who lifts the trophy?

These two sides are the teams who have hit the most sixes in the competition, which itself is an indication of what it takes to be successful in the modern game. The Windies have hit 34, and England 32. It is that fire power that prompted us to tip the Windies at 12/1 prior to the tournament.

Both teams have endured a chequered run to the final, with the Windies losing to Afghanistan and pulling off an amazing recovery versus India, and England looking dead at half time of their second game. But both made it, and these are the two best teams.

England have come on leaps and bounds since the first three innings of the competition, with just enough batters making a contribution each time. However, last time it was the bowlers who stood out, in particular Chris Jordan, who we have given plenty of stick. Their attack has looked fragile for some time, but now they seem to understand each other’s role.

All that said, this West Indies side has form on their side. Having dismantled England in the first game, they will surely have plenty of confidence.

One thing that the West Indies have is a very clear state of mind. They love this format, play with a smile, and love to entertain. They know what they’re about. And the balance and versatility they have in the side is the envy of everyone else. This is a special unit that has been brought together under the superb leadership of Darren Sammy. A player of average skill, albeit a big ball striker, Sammy has a uniting quality. He isn’t the intense character you find leading most sides, instead he provides the best possible atmosphere for his mates to succeed.

And in their last victory they proved (even though they didn’t need to) that losing Gayle doesn’t mean losing the match. They have more match winners than any other side in the world. From Andre Russell, to Darren Sammy, and all the specialists in between. They are the real deal, with the spirit and the skill to win this.

They are the side with momentum, despite England’s win over New Zealand, having beaten the pre-tournament favourites and hosts. Their talisman, the \universe World Boss, Chris Gayle clearly loves this England attack, having plundered a ton in 47 balls earlier. Throughout the side they have experience, much more than England. In IPL, CPL, BBL and any other league on the planet, these Windies players are the go to for the big teams. England’s lads barely play a game from one year to the next. That experience will count here.

The Windies are available at 10/11 with Coral. That is a huge price.

A horrible final over of batting from Australia Women but a great batting display other than that, 148 should be more than enough.

No, no, no, no, NO. Australia what have you done?

I was all over the 4/9 on Australia because it was a gift of a price and they've made a complete disaster of it.

Their final batting over scoring only one looks to be a crucial error but to be honest, their bowling display was that bad that they may have still lost even with a proper final over of batting.

Once again I've lost huge sums of money and what a disaster of a World T20 tournament I've had.

Hwy fader..... Sorry man that was disappointing... But well its a sport and anything is possible.....

Anyway do you wager on IPL games?

I'll probably take a look mate yeah. I'm taking a little break last few days/week. I've had some awful luck. I'll be focusing this week on the Masters (Golf) and probably will take a look at the Grand National.
