vasilli07 Posted March 1, 2016 Share Posted March 1, 2016 Gamba Osaka -0.5 @ 1.65(marathonbet) v Melbourne Victory Melbourne Victory has been a pale shadow of themselves this season. They certainly haven't dominate games like last season except for a few games. New signing Bozanic has failed to replace influential midfielder and ex-captain Mark Milligan. Losing Carl Valeri to a season ending injury also didn't help as well. After last season disastrous start in the ACL where they were winless in the 1st 3 games, Gamba is looking like they are more serious this season. In the league opener last weekend, they almost fielded a 2nd string team in the loss to Kashima Antlers. Usual starters like Usami, Patric and Kurata all started all the bench probably to get their ready for this game. This is Victory 3rd tough game in a week and I'm not too sure they have too much left in the tank. Gamba may not be at its optimal match fit condition but I think they have the energy and quality to beat this out of sorts and tired Victory team.
