QPR vs Fulham: Hasselbaink aiming to continue unbeaten run against faltering Cottagers

The opening Championship game of the weekend takes place this Saturday at 12:30pm on Sky Sports 1 at Loftus Road where QPR will take on Fulham in a West London derby. Both teams have changed managers this season with little change to their fortunes. However, the Hoops are starting to show signs of improvement and a win here would make them send the Cottagers ever closer to a relegation dog fight.

Portsmouth v Bristol Rovers

League Two match involving direct competitors for play-off positions, separated by 2 points (hosts Portsmouth at 8th position and visitors Bristol R at 5th). Both teams have had a recent dip in form; with Portsmouth on a 3-game win-less run and lost last game 1-0 at home to Leyton Orient, while Bristol Rovers lost their last game 1-0 away to another promotion rival Accrington but had last weekend's game at home to Wimbledon called off due to weather. Both teams are also keen to improve scoring after struggling in that sector; Portsmouth having issues with their chance-creation from midfield while Bristol R's strikers have been off-form. Portsmouth team is coming under vocal pressure from the fans, especially the team's performance at home. Bristol R cannot also afford to lose further ground on its promotion rivals. This match is therefore key to both teams, with each determined to bounce back and not to lose points. The goal market is difficult to predict; overall signs indicate Under 2.5 goals following both teams' respective struggles for goals and obvious need to avoid conceding - but an early goal by either team could change the complexion of the game! Draw  .
