Galway 1.55 - Captain von Trappe - win at 13/8 bog PP

Beginners chase over 2 miles 6 and a half furlongs

My selection represents the 'Gigginstown' boys.....the ones in purple and white......who have won this race in the last 2 years with pretty smart types, Don Cossack and Very Wood

Their horse this year has had a run over fences and was jumping Ok until tiring near the finish. Hopefully he will come on for the run and be fitter now

Main rival and current favourite is Salsa Sensation in the green and yellow hoops of JP McManus. He looks OK as well but I'm just put of by the comment that he jumped badly when winning his maiden hurdle. He won despite jumping badly but you wonder if fences might catch him out
