Aidymac
1. Fabrizio Zanotti ~ 4 Points E/W @ 40/1 Sky Bet ~ 1/4, 5 PlacesIt is coming to the business end of the season now and you ideally want to be with a player that is hot at present and the Paraguayan is just that. He left the KLM Open all smiles two weeks ago with a 4th place finish and showed that was no fluke in the Italian Open just last weekend where he went on to finish T3rd.His four round totals for those two events were -18 and -17 so he has to be playing seriously good golf to be banging in so many birdies. He is no stranger to the winners circle either as he won the BMW International Open just last year. He looks a fair bit overpriced coming here in this kind of form. 2. Rafa Cabrera Bello ~ 2 Points E/W @ 45/1 Coral ~ 1/4, 5 PlacesI could talk forever here about the amount of times this man has thrown away a winning chance in a European Tour event but I will try to focus on the positives. First off, he is an extremely talented golfer and when he is on song, he can stick the ball to the pin like you have never seen before. What he lacks is consistency over four rounds but if he is on a going week, he is a huge danger to all. People tend to forget Rafa is a two time winner on the European Tour, winning the Austrian Open in 2009 and the Omega Dubai Desert Classic in 2012. He is long overdue another win and he had three flawless rounds in the KLM Open two weeks back only for a poor final round to cost him and he ended up T7. 3. Alexander Levy ~ 2 Points E/W @ 70/1 Coral ~ 1/4, 5 PlacesThe Frenchman has had a poor season if judging him on his 2014 campaign is anything to go by. Levy won twice last year, the Volvo China Open and the Portugal Masters. It looked like he was heading for great things but that's golf, it can overwhelm you if you are not playing well. His best finishes this season have been T3 in the Volvo China Open and T3 in the Nordea Masters, you wouldn't have guessed that at the start of the season. He has been bang average in his last five tournaments but there is no doubting the talent he has in his locker and he is the sort of player that could make a mockery out of that 70/1 price-tag if on a going week. 4. Bradley Dredge ~ 1 Point E/W @ 125/1 Bet Victor ~ 1/4, 5 PlacesBradley hasn't had a win since the European Masters back in 2006 so obviously this bet comes with risks attached but he has been playing some very good golf over the last few weeks and warrants a bit of respect here, especially at such a big price. He has a habit of producing his best golf late on in the season and he had a fine T6 finish in the Made In Denmark followed by a T11 finish in the Russian Open two weeks later. He missed the cut in the Italian Open last week but he didn't play bad at all as he was under par both days with a pair of 69's. I am hopeful that the Welshman can put in a solid display again this weekend. 5. Wade Ormsby ~ 1 Point E/W @ 125/1 Sky Bet ~ 1/4, 5 PlacesSticking to the player in some form theme, I like the look of the Australian Wade Ormsby here this week. He has never won on the European Tour but he showed enough in the KLM Open a couple of weeks back for me to think he can win a tournament of this nature. An amazing opening round of 61 in the Netherlands was followed by good rounds of 68, 68 and 69 and although he was T10, he will take a lot of confidence from that week. Again in Italy last weekend, one bad round of 73 cost him a much higher ranking as his other three rounds were 69, 67 and 66. Fingers crossed he can keep playing good stuff this week.
