Dinamo Zagreb - Arsenal Olympiakos - Bayern Munich elo ratings suggest favourites Arsenal and Bayern are too short at current odds of 1.53 and 1.49 and are worth opposing. Arsenal's recent AWAY record in the Champions League is better than Zagreb's home one, but not by enough to justify Arsenal's odds. In their only previous CL meeting in 2006, Arsenal won 3-0 in Zagreb. Olympiakos' recent HOME record in the Champions League compares well with Bayern's AWAY one. Olympiakos have won 8 of their last 10 home CL games beating some top sides including Arsenal, Manchester United, Atletico Madrid and Juventus. Bayern have won 4 and lost 4 of their last 10 CL away games Mid-priced handicap bets of interest: Dinamo Zagreb +1.25 1.93 Olympiakos +1.25 1.97 Both with 188Bet Stake: 5 points on each Total stake: 10 points

Well these are the away games Arsenal thrive in. Zagreb are the dominant force in Croatia with technical superiority and class in their league. They aren't adept at defending against serious world class attacks and we see them as light weights in defence but always capable of scoring against sides. Arsenal will need to watch Algerian international Soudani who is good, but overall if Dinamo want to pass it around and create chances then ultimately Arsenal should cut them to pieces. Where I would be more doubtful of Arsenal getting a win is if they traveled to one of those less technical and more physical sides who just wanted to sit in and break up the play. That's when Arsenal get stifled and are more likely to slip up.

I follow Dinamo Zagreb for years' date=' and I'll say just one thing for this first game, betting on Dinamo here is completely insane. [/quote'] Is it worth punters going for Arsenal -2 handicap then or sticking with our suggestion of the Arsenal -1 handicap?

Both good value in my opinion. Personally I'd still be a bit careful with -2 because it is the first game after all, and Arsenal might be content after they, hopefully, go up by 2. -1 does look very good indeed, -2 might be worth a shot with lower stakes depending on the odds. Toto was right, Dinamo can't defend, and the coach said that they'll "play their game" and not just defend. A team like Dinamo can only do damage to a team like Arsenal if they are very tough and organized in defense, which isn't the case here.

Yeah, agree about Arsenal flourishing against teams that come at them. It's why they've always struggled to do it against the more elite teams that are so disciplined at the back. This could be a cricket score if Arsenal score early then!

Chelsea are in horrific form and will be playing against a Tel Aviv team with nine players behind the ball. With Chelsea resting players, and Arsenal on their minds for the weekend, this will not be a good old fashioned European beatdown. I can even see Chelsea failing to get the win their fans will expect. If they do win, it'll be by the slimmest 1-0 margin, with either a 0-0 or 1-1 draw the alternative options. The way Tel Aviv setup tonight will be perfect for the situation. The home fans will be hungry and expecting a big win, but if they are still being held to 0-0 at half time I'm sure the fans will start turning against the home team. Tel Aviv have a very solid record on the road in this competition, and no team has beaten them by more than a single goal in the last two years. Chelsea won't be spoiling that record tonight.

I am Dinamo fan too ( now in boycot) , and I know this team very well. It is a clear away win - Arsenal @ 1.53 and this is very good odd, it should be arround 1.3, that would be more realistic. Also Arsenal -1 @ 1.9 is very good. Only thing that could save Dinamo losing by few goals is fact, that Arsenal have derby game this weekend against Chelsea, and they will probably try to save their energy for that game. Dinamo play style of football which Arsenal like, attacking - opened, not physical strong. You will see, Arsenal players are much faster, and stronger. And atmosphere on stadium will not be hot, it will be very friendly, because the loudest fans , and ultras ( Bad Blue Boys ) are in boycot. When these teams played in 2006., on stadium was 38.000 loud fans, and atmosphere was amaizing. This time it will be maximum 20.000 people, regular, friendly fans, and it will be very pleasant to play for Arsenal players. So, like I said: Arsenal @ 1.53 10/10 Arsenal -1 @ 1.90 5/10 Good luck !

Horrible night last night. Expecting Chelsea to dominate tonight but will hold off firing on any Chelsea players till HT. I expect Barca to dominate against Roma. Messi and Neymar should shine tonight so.. £3 buy of Messi at 122 £5 buy of Neymar at 85 Tempted to buy Monreal at 53 will decide later

Although I expect Arsenal to win tonight, Zagreb play an open attacking game limiting the Arsenal players ability to pass the ball around in the opponents. Think a couple of the Arsenal players are priced too high.. £4 sell of Cazorla at 118 £2 sell of Ramsey at 85

Arsenal just rocketed from 1.57 to 1.66. Anyone know why. Team looks dangerously strong. Something fishy going on?
Now its gone to 1.72. Crazy last minute drifting. I am going to have to go against the consensus and jump on Dinamo +0.5 @ 2.15 B365 7/10
