He’s doesn’t appeal on the betting front as he’s only 6/1 to beat both Mercedes drivers and long odds on to be on the podium. I don’t like either bet to be honest. In the points market I quite like the chances of Felipe Nasr from Sauber, he drove really well today to finish 9th and is 11/8 to finish in the points with Coral. He will move up one place ahead of Kvyat and will have Hulkenberg and Verstappen in front of him; he could take both of those on a good day so it looks a fair bet to me. The bookies are betting on under or over 16.5 finishers, as a rule I would normally go over on this track but with a few teams trying stuff out we could see one or two retirements over the par figure. Also we have quicker drivers at the back and that could lead to an incident so I’m going under this week at 4/5 with BetVictor. On the subject of retirements Ladbrokes are going 4/1 that McLaren will be the first team to retire a car, that looks too big to me and is a sporting bet for those wanting a bit of interest elsewhere.
