BillyHills
Monaco GP ........It can be a very dangerous place to drive, we have had ten safety cars in the last 15 years and some years we have had multiple stoppages. The betting for a safety car is 1/7 with Ladbrokes, you can get 9/2 that we wont see it this year, highly unlikely. With this in mind the prices for the amount of finishers swings in favour of a few retirements this week, usually we have one or two DNF’s but with a high chance of a safety car, barriers at close quarters, no run off places and a few drivers with little experience of Monaco we should expect four or five casualties I think. Ladbrokes are betting 5/6 each of two on 14.5 finishers, with 20 starters we need six failures and with rain hanging around that may be a possibility. Championship leader Lewis Hamilton will be keen to get back to winning ways after he lost his unbeaten record for 2015 last time out at Barcelona. He has recently signed a new improved contract with Mercedes so should be in the mood for a battle with his revitalized team-mate Rosberg.
