Taylor has already beaten Wade 7-5 this season and at 4/5 he looks remarkable value to do it again. You have to go back to week eight for the last Wade win in this tournament and while he has drawn a number of matches since you have to go back nine matches since he has averaged about 101.65. Although he hasn’t been winning much and can’t qualify for the semi-finals now Taylor’s averaged has often been above that 101.65 and quite often well above it too. His last three averages have been 104.65, 107.58 and 101.71 and while I accept averages aren’t everything I don’t think Taylor does dead rubbers so I expect a closing win from The Power here. 4pts R.Barneveld to beat S.Bunting 19/20 Spreadex Stephen Bunting takes on Raymond Barneveld in the second match of the night and this match does have some significance because if Barneveld can win the match then Anderson will have to beat Lewis to finish third and potentially avoid van Gerwen in the semi-final. Barneveld has been in good touch recently. He is unbeaten since week eight and is looking very solid both with his scoring and his finishing. I mentioned last week how Stephen Bunting’s averages aren’t what is required at this level and true to form he got walloped with a 90.19 average.
