Brazil A Ponte Preta vs Palmeiras Palmeiras -0.5 @1.98 Min Bet 1.65 4.5/10 This game is completely wrong with the lines and I'll explain everything in 3 reasons: - The game is as Ponte Preta was the mastermind but they sold the field to command the stage of Cuiabá, so will be played in another stadium, more than 1000km of their stadium, where the region Ponte Preta has no fans and Palmeiras will have much of the crowd (single twisted) in the stadium, will be largely single twisted game. - Ponte Preta just lost three of their key players, Renato Caja best player on the team and one of the best championship is suspended, Fernando Bob important player also through drop-down field, and to make matters worse Biro Brio which is the only striker that unbalances the team felt injury and is being evaluated but not much chance to play, to play will play busted. - As if all this were not enough the Bridge has been playing poorly and comes from defeats Palmeiras to Contrari comes packaged very well winning games after the 4x0 and 2x0 team comes to another victory I'm sure the line of this game will end around -1 or at least -0.75, take time while there, then the information will become public and the line will fall.

Brazil A Internacional vs Flamengo Internacional -0.5 @ 1.98 Min Bet @ 1.80 5/10 The International comes from a disastrous defeat in the last game, they lost 3-0 at home to Atletico who is the best team in the league, pore this time the game is against Flamengo, one of the worst teams and occupying a position between the last 4 placed. Inter have more team that Flamengo, the technical difference is abysmal, and Inter need much this victory, having almost sure that Inter will come to this game with everything and in desperate need of victory I see this line and odd way above normal'll believe again in a Inter win this game. This odd will dropp, good for trade too.

Brazil: Serie A: Corinthians- Atletico Paranaense Atletico Paranaense are losing their way after a solid start to their season and have conceded nine goals in their last five outings ( one win), two or more in four, including at home to goal shy local rivals Coritiba. They now face a second very tough road trip inside five days, after losing 2-0 at Cruzeiro last weekend and thoughts could quickly tun to a home game with Fluminense in three days time should they fall behind this evening. Corinthians have scored twice in each of their last three home games (all wins) and despite being held scoreless at Goias last time out, they were hugely impressive, with great movement up front and some really inventive build up play especially in and around the box, they also looked good aerially. The home coach is very pleased with the progress his team have made and has spoken of them as potential champions this week, they would go top 4 with all three points this evening and can collect those and possibly cover the handicap with ease if things fall for them in front of goal this evening. Visitors arrive without suspended Walter who has been playing the lone striker role all season and that is a major loss. Corinthians -1 ball 2.28 asian line/Sportmarket.

Avia-Chapecoense. Chapecoense to score over 1.5 goals @ 11/4 b365. Sorry this post is a little late. Chapecoense have won this fixture on the past five occasions. They have scored more than one goal in four of those games. I fancy them to win the game (12/5) and they are in good form having beat Vasco and Gremio in the last two outings. Avai have lost three of their last four so confidence is low. GL

Atlético MG VS São Paulo (Preview) Two clubs that generally are in good form face each other to stay at the Libertadores qualification zone, and in Atletico's case, keep the status of leader. São Paulo has the return of Ganso which definitly makes the midfield better. Luis Fabiano isn't living a great moment and Centurión might start the match. Either way they have perhaps the most qualified squad of Serie A. The match IS NOT neutral field, Asian Bookies have put the "(n)" because Atlético usually plays at the smaller Estádio Independência. The venue of this game will be the Minerão where the epic 7x1 against Germany happened. We should expect Atlético being the hosts and attacking a lot, I see a normal "hosts" situation and would cut the line in the Asian handicap at half a ball with even odds. That being said, the line São Paulo +0,75 @1.96 seems valuable as I São Paulo can offer resistance and hold the draw, and the loss for 1x0 meaning only half loss means value to me. About a quarter ball wrong I would say. http://lucasmondelo.blogspot.com/

FLUMINENSE VS GREMIO Preview from my blog The match is somewhat unique because Ronaldinho is making his Fluminense debut exactly against Gremio, a team that not only was his formation club, but also of his brother, Assis. The thing is Ronaldinho's spell in Mexico was marked by a lazy performance and poor results. However, the player remains dangerous if inspired. Making a general preview of his upcoming Fluminense staying I don't expect much as the player's mood is always hard to predict. But I know one thing, if he is to be successful, the debut vibe should play a key role, and that's why this match is so unique. Gremio is a team generally marked by their home power and away fixtures are always one of a kind and take a lot of experience to price in AH. Asia is now stable at -1/4 ball Fluminense and I believe this is a good cutting point. I won't post an official selection here prematch, but here are some guidelines if you are to watch the match live: The Over lines are starting at 2.25 which is not that wrong, but I believe the first goal, if it ever happens, should put goal fire to the lines. If 1x0 or 0x1 happens, and lines persist at this cut I would bet overs with an uneven. I was expecting rather adamant lines and the chance to buy for instance Gremio +0,5 live after the initial pressure of fluminense if no goals or even if goals. I see some balanced match here with small advantage for Fluminense. It is a game to be followed live, and if the better playing side is down at score, -1/4 to a host down score and perhaps a consistent visitor +1/4 if having more chances, could be a valuable pick. This time I am bringing you some fuel to bet live if you are following the fixture. No Prematch value IMO.

I think Flamengo must have a great chance to beat Sao Paulo.I watched their last two games games at home in which they were poor beyond belief.Against Goias they could only manage 1 effort at goal all match,it was the worst display from a top flight team i can remember watching. They were lucky not to have been beaten by 5 or 6 nil instead of 3 nil.In the midweek cup game i had a minimal bet on Ceara to beat them and was left kicking myself for not taking advantage of the 11/1.I just knew Sao Paulo were playing so bad that any team would give them a game.I have no idea how bad Flamengo are at the moment,as they just sacked their manager but i find it hard to believe they wont find a way to win against a Sao Paulo team who are in terrible form.Home win Bet365 at 10/11.

Corinthians- Fluminense Having posted back to back defeats, Fluminense are starting to lose their way in the hunt for a top four plave and it is not easy to make a case for them turning things around on the road to league leading Corinthians who have a wonderful 9-0-1 home record, especially as Flu have lost their last four away starts and those to teams with an average league position of 14.25, they also have the small matter of the Flu-Fla derby at the weekend and the visitors cannot give everything tonight, fall short and then run the risk of playing their cross town rival with nothing left in the tank. Corinthians are playing with freedom and style, they have won their last four scoring 12 goals in the process and they will be eager to at least retain their four point advantage at the top of the table, with victory this evening. Flu have made the trip without Ronaldinho who was booed from the pitch by his own supporters at the weekend and who is struggling for form, Gum and Edson did not train with the main group yesterday and are carrying minor knocks, but will probably start, Wellington Silva and Fred did finally return to full training, but are probably not ready to play yet, but we might see one or both at the weekend and I suspect that is their most important game this week and certainly the more win-able. Defensively they look a little suspect and without top scorer Fred, they are never so prolific at the other end of the pitch (lost 5/7 in his absence this season, just 3/14 when he plays). Brazil Serie A Flamengo - Vasco da Gama

Vasco have had a nightmare season back in the top flight, but, after looking dead and buried, 10 points from four games have give them a survival lifeline and they could yet launch the great escape, masterminded by head coach Jorginho who took charge at the club last month. It took a couple of matches for him to get his ideas across, but players are in sync with the coach now and he as a former Flamengo coach and player, will know what this huge Rio derby means to club and supporters.  Flamengo are the only team in Brazil to have collected more points on the road and their home record of 6-4-5 in on a par with the teams battling the drop, the two rivals are meeting for the sixth time this season in all competitions and Vasco have only lost once and will be straining every sinew today to ensure that #2 doesn't come this evening at the Maracana. Flamengo have conceded six goals in losing their last two starts and have shipped the most goals of any team outside the bottom six and by some way and with Vasco having scored twice in each of their last three starts, there will surely be a goal or two in this for the visitor and one is often enough to claim a result in this most keenly fought derby fixtures, with none of the last ten Serie A meetings being decided by more than a goal .

Brazil Serie A Corinthians - Goias

A win for Atletico Mineiro last night saw them close to within two points of Corinthians at the top of the table and the leaders will want to extend that back up to five by following suit this evening. The top two will have clear priorities ahead of their meeting in Belo Horizonte in 17 days time, AMG will be looking to reduce the deficit to three or less, Corinthians will want to make the trip with as big an advantage as possible, but definitely 4 points +, which would take the pressure off that potentially title deciding game.

The hosts have been very solid against bottom ten teams, posting a 7-0-0 record at home with a 16-1 goal difference, winning five by 2+ goals, on the road they are 5-3-0 versus the same teams and remember how difficult it is to win away in Brazil, that means that they have collected 2.6 pts per game when playing any bottom ten side and are keeping a clean sheet in 67% of those meetings. Gois are in trouble, two points from safety, they are not yet a lost cause, as the four teams directly above them are all within three points,  they are going to have to up their game , but I doubt it will be in fixtures like this, or Sunday's trip to Santos which will ultimately decide their fate, but how they fare against the other strugglers and in all home starts from now on in. Corinthians have scored five goals in two of the last three h2h meetings in SP and whilst that might not be possible this evening, I do expect another two goal win . Since early June when Corinthians hit their stride, they are 8-1-0 next time out when coming off a draw or defeat , they get a couple of defenders back tonight who were not available for the 2-2 draw at Ponte Preta last time out and it is difficult to see Goias stopping another bounce back performance. Also returning from international duty and named as starters are Gil and Renato Augusto, they should have been three up at PP before some very sloppy and un-Corinthians like defending let the home side take the lead and we can expect a far more professional and disciplined showing this evening and with so many more options, a comfortable win.

Brazil Serie A : Santos - Goias

Goias lost 3-0 at leaders Corinthians and Santos were edged out 1-0 at Gremio, continuing their away day woes.

Not an awful lot to add really. Trips to Corinthians and Santos are tough for anyone, let alone back to back inside three days and should be too much for one of the poorer sides in the league, especially when they will be facing a home side desperate to claim back their hard earned top 4 ranking. Santos' road form leaves a lot to be desired, but they are 12-2-1 on home soil and have, incredibly, scored at least three goals in their last seven home starts and have averaged 2.47 per game in all league home games. The hosts are without a couple of suspended players, including 8 goal teenage striker Gabriel, but they still have massive offensive threat, not least through Serie A's top scorer Ricardo Oliveira (see below) and their absences mean that we get a decent quote today and with huge motivation, I cannot see Goias stalling the Copa Libertadores push from Santos, who have named a squad with only three points in mind..

Santos:Vanderlei , Vladimir, Daniel Guedes, Zeca , Chiquinho, Werley, Leonardo , Paulo Ricardo, Renato, Thiago Maia, Lucas Lima, Marquinhos Gabriel, Leandrinho, Serginho, Ledesma, Vitor Bueno , Léo Cittadini, Ricardo Oliveira, Geuvânio, Neto Berola, Leandro, Nilson, Marquinhos.

Brazil Serie A:  Santos - Palmeiras

Santos progressed to the final of the Copa do Brasil (beating Sao Paulo 3-1 in the semi final home leg, winning both legs by that scoreline actually), that now means that they have now scored an incredible three goals or more in NINE straight home games ! I guess that sequence will end soon, but I am not so sure it will be today, with Palmeiras having conceded eght in their last three road games and having played out a very tense Copa semi final of their own in midweek, seeing off Fluminense on penalties. Flu dominated that game after the break, pulled a goal back to level things on aggregate and had another disallowed and felt very hard done by, after creating three times as many attempts on goal as Palmeiras. So these two will meet in the cup final over two legs around the turn of this month, but that feels a long way off and this is far from a dress rehearsal with 4th place and a Copa Libertadores spot to play for. Palm need a win and nothing else to get back into contention for that, three points would see Santos back in pole position. I do not know what happens if Santos finish fourth, if Pameiras would get the "other" Copa place regardless, or would it go to 5th in the league, I tried to find out quickly this morning but ran out of time. If that was the case, then conspiracy theorists would argue that losing today would give them a better (double chance) of making the international competition. I will find out before writing again about these two, for now we can consider it a potential "bonus".

Readless of which, Santos seem irresistable on home soil right now and had a training run out in midweek, whilst Palmeiras had a battle ! Santos to record a seventh straight home win over the visitors.

Santos -0.75 ball 2.20 asian line/Sportmarket.

Bagzi....do you have something for tonight ?

According to whoscored.com-

  • Flamengo players are a bit light on the ground this week.
  • That's because five – Marcelo Cirino, Pará, Everton, Alan Patrick & Paulinho – have been suspended by the club.
  • Midfielder Jonas serves a ban after a red card.
  • The Rio club has suspended five senior players after some extra-curricular nocturnal activities came to light

Gremio are available @ 1.66 with bet365
