One area where there could be value is in Alex Hales’ run line. It is set at 34.5 which looks and sounds a little high but isn’t really. He scored 37 against Afghanistan in the World Cup and will surely be back up opening the batting here. This Irish attack looks limp without Tim Murtagh and Hales should have plenty of time to get himself in before he tucks in. After his start to the season with Nottinghamshire the big hitting opener must be seeing it like a football and he can take advantage here.
