Re: ***** US Masters Competition - £150 in CASH Prizes ***** 1. Jordan Speith 10/1. Speith has declared himself destined for the Hall of Fame. A shade arrogant but he is in form and has produced at Augusta already. 2. Bubba Watson 10/1 Simply cannot pass Bubba up. The reigning champion loves this place. I can see more tears on Masters Sunday. Adam Scott 20/1. Again another past winner. Horses for courses certainly applies to Augusta much more that other venues. Scott seems to be coping well with his new putter. World class when he wants to be. Angel Cabrerra 66/1. Seriously unlucky to lose out to Scott two years ago. Past winner "El Pato" always saves his best for this tournament. Zach Johnson 80/1. 2007 winner Johnson is playing reasonably well at the moment. Another Augusta lover whom may still be there com Sunday. Cheerrs Aidy GL

Re: ***** US Masters Competition - £150 in CASH Prizes *****

  • Rory McIlroy 9/2
If he turns up with his A game I just done see how anyone can beat him so he's got to be in the team.
  • Bubba Watson 10/1

Probably the only person who can beat Rory even if he does bring his A game. Augusta suits the left handed with the big swing over the corner, knows how to win here.

  • Jordan Spieth 10/1
Jordan is a winner and a fighter, he let an opportunity get away last year in Majors and will be up there fighting to make that right this year.
  • Billy Horschel 66/1

  • Charl Schwartzel 66/1

Both of these guys know how to win big prizes in big comps. As outsiders they have to be worth a look.

Re: ***** US Masters Competition - £150 in CASH Prizes ***** Jason Day 14/1 2nd and 3rd here before , and and 3 top 10 finishes in 4 tournaments this year seems hes on form. Rickie Fowler 25/1 This course will suit his aggressive play , came 5th last time. Last year he in came top 5 in all majors and he might het his first here. Bubba Watson 10/1 Twice winner cant be ignored , long drives put him into good positioms to the fairway. This course suits his tee offs as its one of the fastest in the world which will favour him. Angel Cabrera 66/1 Hes had 4 top 10 finishes here and won it before in a play off , he is usually thereabouts here. MA jimenez 125/1 He is too big a price IMO , top 5 last year and his short game is superb, which gives him a chance of eagles or stick on birdies. Im EWing him at bookies at that price.

Re: ***** US Masters Competition - £150 in CASH Prizes ***** Here goes nothing, these contests are often won by guys with no clue whatsoever, so I reckon I have a good chance ;). 1. Jason Day 14/1 - I don't like McIlroy, Watson and Spieth. 2. Matt Kuchar 16/1 - Nobody trust him from what I've seen, so he's going to sneak in unnoticed. Also has a cool name that means "a cook" in Czech. 3. Louis Oosthuizen 50/1 - Hit an albatross in 2012, has to count for something I guess. 4. Ian Poulter 66/1 - Hit a hole-in-one here before. 5. Harris English 66/1 - Wins the best name contest for me.

Re: ***** US Masters Competition - £150 in CASH Prizes ***** 1) Rory McIlroy 9/2 - His focus for the year will be this event and he is too good to ignore. Also considering the game format and how he's likely to be up there even if he doesn't win and often leads at the end of 18/36/54. 2) Dustin Johnson 16/1 - Has said previously that he believes Augusta is his best chance for a major and is in great form. He also has a fantastic record in the Northern Trust Open, an event I believe can be a key indicator to a Masters performance. 3) Jordan Speith 10/1 - Also in terrific form and showed last year he can play at Augusta. 4) Martin Kaymer 66/1 - Has shown he can win the big events and despite favouring a draw he's made the cut the last 3 times here. 5) Bill Haas 80/1 - Fantastic Northern Trust record and has been playing well of late.

Re: ***** US Masters Competition - £150 in CASH Prizes ***** Phil Mickelson 22/1 - Has a good record here and shows up for the majors Keegan Bradley 66/1 - Another player who played well in the majors Jason Dufner 80/1 - On his day a birdli machine and solid Justin Rose 33/1 - Very good all round game and proved he can win on US soil Henrik Stenson 16/1 - Great form at the moment driving long and straight an asset at Augusta

Re: ***** US Masters Competition - £150 in CASH Prizes ***** Rory McIlroy 9/2 Bubba Watson 10/1 Rickie Fowler 25/1 Charl Schwartzel 66/1 Hunter Mahan 80/1 Rory is as obviously the man everyone expects to see at the business end of any major right now but someone we have also seen up in the top 10 on a consistent basis is Ricki Fowler and I see no reason why he won't be top 5 this time round. Bubba has won 2 of the last 3 and I just can't look past that even if am tempted by Spieth. Again one my outsiders in a previous champ in Schwartzel and finally going with Hunter Mahan as never seems to miss a cut lately.

Re: ***** US Masters Competition - £150 in CASH Prizes ***** Rory 9/2, well because he's Rory and if he can get rid of the one stinker round he always puts in should be in with more than a good shout Bubba 10/1 perfect game for the course and proven winner round here. Form not bad either! Walker 22/1 great form and looks super confident at the moment. Koepka 66/1 great long game and glad I backed him before his PGA win. Obviously lacking experience. cabrera 66/1 a man who loves this course and was unlucky not to win a couple of years ago.

Rory Mcilroy 9/2 Bubba Watson 10/1 Brandt Snedeker 40/1 Louis Oosthuizen 50/1 Victor Dubuisson 80/1 First four all usually play well at augusta. Dubuisson I think his game will suit it
Welcome to the forum Manic78. :nana You must choose 2 golfers that are a bigger price than 50/1.

Re: ***** US Masters Competition - £150 in CASH Prizes ***** Jason Day - 14s - joint favourite with Rory in my opinion. Two top 3s in three appearances and a win this year already Dustin Johnson - 16s - back on tour with a bang. Has a great game for the course and four top 6s in last 5 tournaments Brandt Snedeker - 40s - winner this year on a course that he's previously performed well on and has two top 6s here. Fantastic putter. Hideki Matsuyama - 66s - superstar waiting to happen. Three top 5s since turn of the year. JB Holmes - 66s - great game for course and in form of his life with two runner ups in last 5 tournaments. Top 25 in only previous appearance here. GL everyone!

Re: ***** US Masters Competition - £150 in CASH Prizes ***** Stenson 16 No3 in the world. Excellent recent form. played well here before. Course should suit and has plenty of experience. Mickelson 22 Thrilling player to watch. Sure he will peak for this and not worried that he has not been at his best yet! Kutcher 33 Excellent record around here. Right age and experience of the usual winner. Plays with a smile on his face and would be a worthy champion. Kaymer 66 People said he could not win around here because he could not draw the ball, which is so important here. Has worked on that, has come through a difficult time but now moving in the right direction. Fair price given his attitude and class. Casey 80 Another back from the doldrums. Now looks settled in home and golf life and playing better than in a long time. Has the perfect game for here ( without checking, I think he played really well on his debut) and could surprise1 worth a fiver in the English markets!

Re: ***** US Masters Competition - £150 in CASH Prizes ***** Rory Mcilroy 9/2 Can't see past him if he plays his best Bubba Watson 10/1 Played very well this season, won twice already at a course that suits him well Matt Kuchar 33/1 Great short game, solid form, top 10 likely Martin Kaymer 66/1 massively overpriced IMO, changed his game to suit Augusta and he's shown before he can be cool under pressure and dominate majors Victor Dubuisson 80/1 Will win a major sooner or later, short game and recovery shots are up there with the very best

Re: ***** US Masters Competition - £150 in CASH Prizes ***** 1-Matt Kuchar- A major just waiting for this consistent golfer. 2-Patrick Reed- This golfer has the skills for this course and could well pop up at a decent price. 4-Jim Furyk- Mr consistency in majors. Always ignored by the bookies yet is always thereabouts on the last day. 5-Ian Poulter- I do not like his attitude as a person but as a golfer is sure to come to the top soon.

Jason Dufner - Had a great spell last year, if he can find his form again i quite like his chances. 5. Luke Donald - Because why not.

Re: ***** US Masters Competition - £150 in CASH Prizes ***** Rory McIlroy 9/2 - Glad to have this comp to cheer on Rory - he looks a little short at 9/2 to back in the outrights, but in this comp he looks like a "must have" since he has the game to be bang there on Sunday Bubba Watson 10/1 - the 2 time champ and has been playing well on the PGA tour lately - looks to have prepared his season ready for a tilt at this Jason Day 14/1 - I've backed him when he's gone close twice and finished in the place money. The first of those placed efforts was when he seemed to crack a bit under the pressure, but I was really impressed by how he handled the pressure in the 2nd of those efforts and he looks to have the experience now to cope should he be in contention on Sunday Bill Haas 80/1 - consistent and has played well here before (20th last year despite a poor 2nd round) - seems to be under-estimated by the bookies and a recent winner on the tour. Chris Kirk 125/1 - a steady 4 rounds for a joint 20th last year and had a couple of top 10s this year
