Snooker Shootout - 4-6 Mar

Re: Snooker Shootout - 4-6 Mar Tournament preview: 1pt ew S.Bingham to win Snooker Shootout 22/1 BetVictor (1/4 1-4) One man who gets on with it and who is very good from distance is Stuart Bingham and he should go well this week. Bingham has shown all season long that he can score heavily when he gets in and with him being a naturally quick player the shot clock shouldn’t affect him as much as some others. He lost in the final here 12 months ago and he can go one better here. 1pt ew M.Williams to win Snooker Shootout 33/1 Betfred (1/4 1-4) Another man in great form who is capable of getting in from distance is Mark Williams and there is no reason why he can’t go well this week either. He is back near his best now and has always been a clever player so if he can get in early in a frame and build a bit of a lead you know he won’t do anything silly and will be able to protect it. I think we’ll see Williams take this a bit more seriously with the form he’s in and he’s another live runner this week. Re: Snooker Shootout - 4-6 Mar Outsiders preview: 0.5pts ew M.Selt to win Snooker Shootout 66/1 Stan James (1/4 1-4) Matthew Selt has a tough first round draw in Judd Trump but this format is a massive leveller so we shouldn’t worry too much about that. He has shown he is in good form in recent times and has gone well in a number of PTC events. He is someone who is always joking around on twitter so the atmosphere is unlikely to get to him and given that he’s made a final this season he might be ready to go on and win an event like this. At 66/1 he can give us a run for our money if he gets past Trump. 0.5pts ew R.Milkins to win Snooker Shootout 50/1 Skybet (1/4 1-4) Whenever this tournament comes around it is hard to ignore the first beaten finalist in the event in Robert Milkins. Milkins is so naturally quick that he won’t need to adjust his game for the shot clock at all and we’ve seen over the last year or two that he is proficient at getting in from distance and going on from there. Milkins is a naturally aggressive player which helps but he isn’t daft and if he gets in front he can protect his lead which is important in this event now. He’s another who looks a big price here.
