Always welcome. I will attempt to answer the questions. Firstly, the leagues I bet on: Yes it's true I have no knowledge of many of the teams. I will bet on a game if there is enough action on a betfair line to make an accurate judgement on the true odds. If the 1X2 line has Back / Lay of 1.01 / 99 on every line then of course there is no way of knowing, however if it is Home 1.99 / 2.00 Draw 3.5 / 3.55 Away 4.7 / 4.75 then I believe I have enough info to make a judgement on what I consider the DNB odds should be. If I then find DNB odds better than this then I will take the bet. Regards the odds, I will happily take short priced favourites or long odds underdogs (notice I have Milan tonight at 19/2) and anything in between if my system shows value. It has generally been the favourites that have fallen into that category. I do not know why this is, perhaps bookmakers are more competitive in trying to secure action on the favourites so that drives the price closer to the true value on them? If anyone has knowledge of the bookies process on this or has worked for a bookmaker, perhaps they could clarify? On to the strike rate, on odds of 1.2 you do not have to win 10 of 12 to equal 0 as there are PUSHES (stake returned, not lost) if it is a draw. So for example 12 bets of 1.2 if the results were 7 wins, 4 draws, 1 loss this would return a profit. Finally I do not think it is impossible to make profit in the long run. What this system will not do is make you large profits. I would regard a 2% return to be fairly successful. So for every £100 you bet you would only make £2 profit, if that isn't what you are looking for then it is not the system for you. Thanks for the contributing and feel free to continue to do so.
