Re: Scottish Football > January 1st - 5th What do you think about Patrick Thistle - Celtic @ 1.32 ? Recently players from Glasgow don't play as they should. Last game they drawed with weak Ross County and before that they lost against Dundee. I think this is the best time to reborn and well start new year. Only thing that bothers me is that on the begining of December they won just 1:0 at Celtic Park. They were much better, but their effectiveness is worrying.

He is trying to fit a formation that we dont have the players to play in , he doesnt start commons much and IMO he is our best creative player and can score for fun ( over 20 goals from midfield or behind attack last season) The pressure will be on if aberdeen win they go top for a few hours. we should win comfortably but everyone thought that last week and we drew. I wouldnt touch it myself.

Re: Scottish Football > January 1st - 5th I hope that such a club like Celtic will not underestimate this game and they smoothly win. As I see IT is not common for them to lose or draw two games in row in their domestic league. But I will hold with high stakes.

Re: Scottish Football > January 1st - 5th Motherwell are massive value away to Hamilton. The bookies have made a mistake here, couple of factors to think about, this is a local derby, so will be contested. Motherwell have a 100% record since replacing McCall as manager, won last two games without conceding. This game is alot closer than the 5's generally available on Motherwell indicate and could go either way

Re: Scottish Football > January 1st - 5th Motherwell have improved a lot from their false position after McCall's departure and this is a derby so its tough to call this one. However, it's played on Hamilton's plastic pitch and that would put me off backing Motherwell. No bet for me but good luck with your bet.

Re: Scottish Football > January 1st - 5th On paper, Arbroath looks like decent bet against out of form Montrose. Lichties put great performance against East FIfe. They were better team when teams played 11 on 11. When EF player was sent off it was easy for guests to win. Carreiro went back to Dundee but should have decent firepower. Montrose have only one win in last 15 games or so. Lost last match against bottom Elgin. Help from Scottish friends about this match is welcome.

Re: Scottish Football > January 1st - 5th I have taken Ross County at 2.8 DNB. Dundee are my team but were in free fall just now.Ross County are poor no doubt but Dundee look so vulnerable on the break. We have only won 1 point out off the last 21 and that was a undeserved last minute equalizer at Partick. We had plenty off the game against St Mirren and Utd but conceded 9 goals. There is rumor's off the manager and a player coming to blows at HT in the 6-2 defeat to Utd. Confidence is bound to be at rock bottom and im more backing against my team than any confidence in County. But at 2.8 i think its worth a small stake.

Re: Scottish Football > January 1st - 5th Hearts FC-Sow(10\7,2nd top goal-scorer),McHattie(8\1)Carrick(4\2),Hassnaoui(10\2) Hibernian FC-Forster(9\1),McGeouch(6\1),Alagui(4\2) Looking at the injury list,i think Hearts have bigger absences.Their main striker is out and may lack some sharpness. They are the best team in the Championship after all and especially at home they have pretty amazing record this season but the odds don't represent great value given the fact that Hibernian are not worse either. Both teams may settle down with a draw here i think

Re: Scottish Football > January 1st - 5th

Any opinions or thoughts for Hearts vs. Hibernian ? Many thanks !
Last 12 games between these sides have gone under 3.5,skinny price though 4/11 with 1.38 on betfair, might wait for a goal and dive in.

Re: Scottish Football > January 1st - 5th Go for a double St Johnston lost to Aberdeen but Had been in good form , that game last time was first loss in 8 games and have been consistent at home. Only lost to Hamilton once in last 5 meetings and record of 10-4-3 at home . Inverness come into this off the back of a 3-1 Derby win , pretty good footballing side should have too much for opponents 17/10 & 1/2 odds with bet365 ft result
