Kempton 2:00 - Kauto Star Novices' Chase(Grade 1) (1) 3m There is no doubt Saphir Du Rheu deserves to be at the head of the market for this contest, but at the prices I am willing to take him on. He won with a lot of authority at Exeter last time up and Paul Nicholls believes he is a Grade 1 winner waiting to happen according to reports. He bolted up here at Kempton last January in the Lanzarote Hurdle and that course form could stand him in good order but he is tackling 3 miles for the very first time so we are not 100% sure how he will cope with that. The value for me is the stablemate Virak ridden by Nick Scholfield who we know stays 3 miles and he has done nothing but impress on his last three runs, winning with a lot to spare so 11/2 looks a bit big. Virak - 2 Points WIN @ 11/2 Sky Bet Read Full Preview @ http://www.punterslounge.com/kauto-star-novice-chase-tip-virak-is-the-value-of-the-nicholls-pair-to-land-the-spoils

Re: National Hunt Racing - Boxing Day Kempton 3:10 - William Hill King George Vi Chase(Grade 1) (1) 3m Al Ferof is a very interesting contender, supposedly the Nicholls second string, but don't be fooled, this is a top class chaser in the makings and on good ground I fancy him to get the better of Silvinaco Conti. He was visually awesome in the Amlin Chase on his comeback run recently and he should be able to improve on that fitness wise as that was his first run of the campaign. I still think the value has to be Cue Card, a horse that went off 7/2 for this race last season and only found Conti too good but he might have more in his favour this time round. He bolted up in the Betfair Chase at Haydock last season, easily beating Dynaste and Conti, and if in similar form will look a massive price.
