Although there is one league difference between the two teams, I simply do not believe that Espanyols reserves can beat Alaves, or said differently; they should not be favourites in this match. Some young players will make their debut. So the team news say that among the missing players are Giovanni Dos Santos, Cani, Bruno, Gaspar, Gabriel Paulista and Luciano Vietto. It's really hard for a team to qualify to Segunda and although Cardiz is aiming to that they also want a win against a big team and to go further to the cup. That's why they have the whole roster ready for today's game. They know that if they want to have a chance of qualifying they must take advantage of their home (6-3-0 this season). It's just that they are not so steady in Segunda although they are in the promotion play-off zone and the fans are complaining which resulted to change coach. Almeria is through a really bad year and is under the relagation zone. They haven't won in the last 7 games (0-2-5) and many players from the second team will play today.
