Re: World Grand Prix - 6-12 Oct Final preview: 4pts M.van Gerwen vs J.Wade - Over 7.5 sets 11/10 Paddy Power James Wade has a decent overall record against van Gerwen although he has lost seven of their last eight meetings but they have all been close and I think the double start element of this final will ensure this one stays close too. Wade has been getting in as well as anyone all week and MVG hasn’t been quite as crisp there. We know the Dutchman has the odd miss at the end of the leg in him too so even though I think he’ll win this final I’m not convinced he’ll blow Wade away enough to win it in less than eight sets.
