Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday October 2nd i like dinamo zagreb to beat celtic. i just think they have more technical ability trabzonspor are very defensive team. they are capable of getting on the scoresheet and when they do they are likely to hold on for the win villarreal v apollon are generous odds for both teams to score. the home team always play and open attacking style of football and their opponents have been high scoring team as well fiorentina haven't started the best in italy but they got some very good quality. i like them to win and start their season finally with convincing win paok have surprised me with their approach in this competition and seem to be taking it seriously. they've changed their style of football now they are more adventurous going forward. while i expect it to be defensively focused paok in my eyes look likely to score first and win dynamo v bucuresti judging by their previously played results seem to suggest a lot of goals. both sides are free scoring teams and there is high possibility for both getting on the scoresheet i like krasnodar on the handicap as they seem on par even strength to everton but as everyone knows everton concedes a lot of goals while the russian have slightly better defensive performance in the past month. home win be aware of backing st etienne as the don't seem in great form at the moment and also backing tottenham, besiktas gave arsenal big scare in the qualifying round for champions league. tottenham will play reserves and besiktas coach slaven knows the english league well so can get some result here. also praha against young boys seems doggy. this could be a close call and i give home team a slight advantage. the odds seem to be dropping. good luck

Fiorentina with Rossi, Gomez and Cuadrado out only 2 strikers available, Bernardeschi and Babacar, Babacar is the only centre forward and he can be on the bench considering Sunday match against Inter

Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday October 2nd 3pts Everton to beat Krasnodar (DNB) 6/5 Paddy Power This will be an interesting game in many ways. Krasnodar are looking to make a big impression on their European debuts while Everton are looking to stand out on their return to the big time. Roberto Martinez’s teams play a European style and I think that will benefit them in this competition. This will be a tough trip for them but I like the way they set up and if either side wins this it can be them. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/krasnodar-vs-everton-betting-everton-can-edge-out-the-russians 4pts Tottenham (-1AH) to beat Besiktas 2.07 Bet365 I didn’t see a huge amount from Besiktas against Arsenal that suggests they can cause an upset here and it could be that the lack of pressure of the Premier League releases the shackles of Tottenham and they find their feet and bang a couple of goals in. Besiktas showed in week one of this group that they are nothing to be feared so I expect Tottenham to win this game and cover a -1 Asian cap. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/tottenham-vs-besiktas-betting-spurs-can-get-back-on-track-at-the-lane 4pts Celtic vs Dinamo Zagreb - Over 2.5 goals Evs Ladbrokes I think we will see some goals in this match. Celtic don’t convince defensively and have leaked goals in both their European campaigns this season. Zagreb were full of goals in their opening match in this group but they conceded as well so I expect an open game and one in which both sides notch. There’s enough in both attacks to expect to see goals so the even money on over 2.5 goals looks good to me. Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday October 2nd everton look a very poor bet to me in Russia. Early money is for the russians and Everton travel with a reasonably strong squad but still a lot of players absent. Barkley,Pinnear,Coleman, Miralles, Distin and Mccarthy all out. Lakaku, Barry, Baines, howard likely to be rested for the Man U game. Martinez will not want to risk key players with the number of injuries they already have. Everton starting line up will probably be close to this. Robles Browning Stones Alcaraz Oviedo Besic Gibson Osman McGeady Eto'o Atsu No way you can back a 2nd string side like that in Russia ?

Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday October 2nd bigmick - I'm an Everton fan and I expect Martinez to pick as strong a side as possible. Martinez showed he's taking the Europa League seriously when he picked his best possible team against Wolfsburg and then made changes against Crystal Palace three days later. And I can't see why he'd take top players to Russia and then rest them. Having said that, I think FK Krasnodar are a very good bet and I backed them at 7/5 with Paddy Power a few hours ago. They're a good side and Everton are not playing well at the moment. We'll be without McCarthy tomorrow, which is a huge blow, and we're really struggling defensively. I expect us to pick the following team: Howard Hibbert/Browning Jagielka Stones Baines Besic Barry McGeady Naismith Osman Lukaku/Eto'o

Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday October 2nd Expecting a tough game for PSV away in Moskow. Dinamo not in best form but the same thing you can say about PSV. Since Depay got injured and Main striker Luuk de Jong is out, they really lack threat upfront. I think Samba and Douglas will eat Locadia alive in this game. Pretty young squad for PSV without much experience. Dinamo do have some very experienced players and also ex psv players who know the club well and their tactical aproach. Only 6 fans travelled to Russia with the team and that's really poor, lol. Wijnaldum is one of the few bright sparks left but they face a physical strong side and will have troubles in midfield and upfront. Both teams won their first game in this group and Cocu psv coach stated that it's not the end of the world if they might loose this game. A draw would be a great result he said in an interview yesterday. They are surely impressed by their opponent. Psv played 11 against 10 for a long time on sunday but couldn't even win against Heerenveen and also 11 against 11 they were the weaker side. With a full squad I would skip this game but for now the value is clearly on the home side. Odds around 1.80 are big imo. Bookies respect psv but this is surely the hardest game for them in this group. Expected line-ups : Dinamo Moskow ; Gabulov, Manolev, Samba, Douglas, Buttner, Dzsudzsak, Noboa, Yusupov, Ionov, Kokorin, Kuranyi. PSV : Zoet, Rekik, Bruma, Brenet, Willems, Maher, Hendrix, Wijnaldum, Narsingh, Locadia, Jozefzoon. Like I said a young squad and in the Eredivisie they make errors without getting punished but on this level it's deadly. Willems is fast but so vulnerable defensively, same for the centre, great potential but they are always good for one or two errors per game. Psv lost the last teo away games on national level mainly because they lack confidence away from home and are without two of their most dangerous players. If PSV concedes first Dinamo surely can cover the handicap line otherwise a 1-0 or 2-1 are likely results. If Dinamo was in top form I would go big on this one but since they also concede on a regular basis, I'll keep my stakes medium on the home win. Goodluck guys!

villarreal v apollon are generous odds for both teams to score. the home team always play and open attacking style of football and their opponents have been high scoring team as well
Villareal v Apollon Does anybody have any more information on this match? Bet365 are offering odds of 2.50 for BTTS yes This seems very high considering Villareal are not known for their defensive qualities. The Cypriots have scored in their last 4 away games in the Europa League against Legia Warsaw, Lokomotiv Moskva and more notably against Lazio and Trabzonspor who are higher caliber teams especially at the back. Any more inforamtion would be great as this seems like cracking value?

Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday October 2nd VILLAREAL – APOLLON LIMASSOL Over 2.5 at 1.63 @ Marathonbet Villareal comes at this match with the necessity of the three points, after the draw against Gladbach at the 1st day of the group stage. The Spaniards have a very good tradition at their home games at Europa League, as they come from nine victories. Apollon Limassol, on the other hand, is of course the outsider for the win, but in the same team has shown an exceptional face at this year’s Europa League. The victories against Lokomotiv Moscow (1-4) and Zurich (3-2) have proved the attacking abilities of the Cypriot team, showing that Apollon is capable of scoring at tonight’s match as well. As a result, I expect a match with many goals, thinking that Over 2.5 is a very clever choice.

Nice write up AF13. Note my post above. If you feel Apollon can get on the score sheet then BTTS yes @ 2.50 has to be taken as the better value bet.

Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday October 2nd Guingamp vs PAOK – Win for PAOK @ 2.92 Marathonbet The only logical pick on this game is win for PAOK, even though the Greeks aren’t trustworthy when they play away at Europe. But they are really impressive on the start of the season. They are on top position of Greek Championship after 5 games (4 wins, 1 draw), where they scored totally 13 goals and conceded only one! They smashed Dinamo Minsk with 6-1 at home on the opening day of Europa League, they are in their best possible form. Guingamp on the other side is playing poorly, has lost 6/8 games of French Championship, is sitting on the last position with only 6 points. As expected, they lost 3-0 away to Fiorentina on the opening day of Europa League, where they had pathetic performance. My pick is win for PAOK.

Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday October 2nd Asteras - Partizan UNDER 2.5 (1.65) Can't see anything else but a low-scoring affair. Partizan will be without the services of top scorer Skuletic(suspension), while one of the best players Drincic is ruled out through injury. In other words, Partizan will be packed in midfield, with only one player up front(Lazovic), so it's really hard to see any goal fiesta tonight.

Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday October 2nd St. Etienne - Dnipro St. Etienne after two difficult games against Bordeaux and Marseille managed to collect only one point, but played very well in both and showed that they are in good form and ready for a positive result today. They have to win if they want to go to the next round and also be ready for Sunday's game against Toulouse. The captain Perrin returns in the center of the defence after his injury but Erdinc is not in the squad. St. Etienne has lost only 1 home game out of the last 13 in European competitions. Dnipro is doing well in the Ukrainian championship as they are in the first place of the table but lost this Saturday for the cup, because the coach rested many field-players for today's game. The captain Rotan is punished from the last game against Inter and won't be palying and the very good half Konoplyanka is injured.Bruno Gama travelled to France but is doubtfull. Dnipro hasn't won in their last 4 games for European competitions. My pick :St. Etienne to win @ 2.02 Marathonbet

Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday October 2nd Slovan Bratislava - SSC Napoli - Both teams to score @2.00 NordicBet Slovan Bratislava is totally out of form, playing worse and worse with team morale far from heaven. Today they play at home against Napoli, and I consider this as a great (maybe last as well) opportunity to show that they are better than they showed in recent games. Slovan has squad full of well-known players on Slovak football stadiums and they would be stars in any other Slovak club. Unfortunately, they don´t play like a team and that costs them a lot. Honestly, I don´t think that they can grab a point today, but I expect offensive approach. As I said, Slovan is in crisis but when will be better opportunity to turn thigs around, if not today? Napoli´s captain Marek Hamsik, big star of Slovak football, is former Slovan player, and that must be also big motivation. And obivously, more than ordinary game for Marek Hamsik, who will be motivated more than in other matches. All in all, it´s a little bit risky to expect that Slovan will score against one of the best Italian clubs, but I have a feeling that this could be a day when Slovan supporters and members of the club will see a light at the end of tunnel, right after promising performance against Napoli, given by players motivated by such a big day of their careers.

Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday October 2nd Hello Smurf! I live in Limassol and i am crazy Apollon fan! I strongly beleive that for this season we have the squad to challenge equally with Apoel for the title. We have some exceptional quality in both midfield and attacking line. Our defense is practically the Cypriot national team defense! I support your idea, that we are going there to score at least 1 goal! I dont know anything about hosts, i just read that they were very competitive against Real during the first half. If you are competitive against Real, you should score against Apollon i guess! For me BTTS is a MUST selection for this game. Astonishing is the price indeed! @2.50 offered by bet365! But please, i am OUT of this! As a fan, i am invited in a big Apollon party here in Limassol, therefore i will be very happy if we beat them by 1-0! Feel free to place your bet, because even if we lose, this one will be something like 3-1 Villareal announced today the death of their coach father..... See you with result mate! and money in pockets!

Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday October 2nd Dynamo Kiev - Steaua Bucuresti Steaua or Draw ( DC ) @ 2.14 Marathonbet Dynamo had easy job to do against Rio Ave in the premiere, took the 3 points and are in the first place of the group with their tonight opponents. They have bad tradition against the Romanians as they have never won them ( 0-2-2 ). They haven't lost in their last 10 games for their league and are -2 points under the top of the table. Makarenko will be absent from the defence due to an injury Steaua also won on the first round with the impressive 6-0 and are unbeaten in their last 6 games. At 2013 they won Dinamo away 0-2 in a friendly match.

Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday October 2nd Europa League :Wolfsburg- Lille We opposed Wolfsburg on group Matchday 1 when they made the trip to Goodison to play Everton .... Roberto Martinez has spoken of taking the competition seriously and we know that Spanish teams usually do, so maybe it is in his blood. Having earned their first win of the season at WBA over the weekend, there is good reason to feel that they will keep that momentum going and to build on it. If they have desire to progress, it will of course not be at the expense of their league campaign and with a long trip to Krasnodar up next and that match sandwiched between away trips to Liverpool and Manchester United, their two biggest rivals, it is fair to assume that they will be looking for the points today and then spare one or two the long trip East in two weeks time. Samuel Eto’o sat out the weekend game, but looks sure to start tonight and with no new injuries and the treatment room emptying, Martinez will surely name a strong starting eleven. His team have scored at least twice in all three starts and whilst they have conceded just as freely, Wolfsburg do not pose quite the threat of Arsenal and Chelsea and motivation for German clubs in the competition has been a little questionable in recent seasons and the domestic schedule tends not to do them any favours, with teams sometimes asked to play Thursday-Saturday. Wolfsburg do get a Sunday match this week, hosting Bayer Leverkusen and having made a slow start to the season, that might be the main focus of their week, against a direct rival for a top 4 spot, of which only two are realistically up for grabs. Everton's record signing Romelu Lukaku was reportedly close to signing for Wolfsburg in the summer, but looking at the direction they finally went in...Nicklas Bendtner, it is hard to believe they were ever really going to spend close to 35m €. They have said that Luis Gustavo and Kevin De Bruyne will be fit to play some part, but the pair have looked a little off the pace since returning late from the World Cup, this looks a good time for Everton to play Wolfsburg. They lost 4-1, but to say the scoreline was flattering to the EPL side is an understatement and Wolves dominated most of the second half, they had little luck and had to wait until injury time before scoring one of their 27 attempts on goal ( 13 on target). They put that right on the Sunday, beating a strong Leverkusen team 4-1 and have subsequently also beaten Weder Bremen here at the Volkswagenarena. They have scored 27 goals in their last 11 home starts, only losing to Bayern and again look to be giving the competition respect and tonight their best shot. I doubt the same is true of Lille, they have already dropped home points to Krasnodar , have a realistic shot at a Champions League spot and face a difficult trip to Lyon on Sunday. They are already without four midfielders in Rio Manuba, Marvin Martin, Marcos Lopes and Jonathan Delaplace and can ill afford to lose anyone else (only four real midfielders have made the trip tonight) and I expect resistance will drop if and when they concede. 1.5 units Wolfsburg -1 ball 2.16 asian line/Sportmarket. Wolfsburg : Benaglio, Grün - Jung, Naldo, Knoche, R.Rodriguez, T.Klose, Schäfer - Guilavogui, Malanda, Luiz Gustavo, De Bruyne, Hunt, Arnold, Perisic, Vieirinha - Olic, Bendtner. Lille : Enyeama, Elana, Butez – Corchia, Souaré, D.Sidibé, Basa, Kjaer, Rozehnal, Soumaoro, Béria – Balmont, I.Gueye, S.Meïté, Ad.Traoré – Roux, R.Mendes, Rodelin, Origi, Frey.

Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday October 2nd I apologize for almost no reasoning here, all bets are based on what I have seen in recent games, motivation and offensive power. All bets are Over 2,5 Goals and Both to score, with odds between 1,95 (Astra) up to 2,50 ( Slovan Bratislava) - Wolfsburg, Astra, Slovan, Sparta Prague, Feyenoord, Zurich and HJK Helsinki. GL all

Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday October 2nd Krasnodar - Everton 6 team in Russia, compared to 15 in England - it is exactly the same strength. . Krasnodar in recent games did not spend a lot of effort - the winning team from the lower leagues in the Cup of Russia (5-0), then the outsider championship 3-0. In each match, it was clear that they play on 50 percent of its capacity, so for today's game they are fully prepared. They have a decent attack and great fan support, I think they Immersed many chances to score. Everton in 6 games missed 14 goals and this is also a reason to believe in the goal of Krasnodar. Everton too good in the attack and is unlikely to go away without a goal scored. So for me it's a good bet - total over 2 for 1.56 and total over 2.5 for 2.12 and yet I chose total goals in the second half, more than first - price 2.12 Krasnodar young team, this year - a first for them in the European Cup, so they always go home early in the match play cautiously and main attacks carried out in the 2nd half (they have good fast forwards in main squad and bench). Krasnodar - Kalev 1-0 and 4-0 Krasnodar - Diosgyori1-0 and 2-0 Krasnodar - Real Sociedad 0-0 and 3-0 Here are the results first and second half Everton 5 of 6 consecutive matches more goals in the 2nd half. ;) GL!
