Re: AS Roma v CSKA Moscow > Wednesday September 17th Roma to win + total over 2.5 @ 2.30 Marathonbet Roma is back to Champions League after 3 years but in a very difficult group and if they want to qualify they don’t have the luxury of losing points in home games like tonight’s. The Romans made a good start in Serie A and they have two wins but CSKA have already played 7 games and they are in better form.In the Russian Premiere League they have five wins but they lost the two more important games against Rubin Kazan and Spartak Moscow

Re: AS Roma v CSKA Moscow > Wednesday September 17th De Rossi serves a suspension for the hosts, he will miss this match. Now the match he got the suspension was more than 3 years ago, that's how much time Roma have not played in this competition. Price has now dropped a bit for the Romans, ~1.55 at a couple of places and it is time to pounce on a punt for the visitors. This is a new squad composed with an excellent coach with a new type of philosophy, relative to this competition of course. Garcia ( coach) have been excellent in and off the pitch for them, shrewd buys and good results in the Italian league. On the one side the team will be more then sufficiently motivated and prepared for this, Olimpico will be packed, but on the other side it is unknown how they will fare in a new environment. It should never be taken for granted that results in a league competition will transfer into Europe. On this mark they are an unknown entity. The price is undervalued. Visitors are regulars in European matches and always bring difficulty for their opponents (sometimes even results). Bear in mind that City and Bayern are the other two teams in the group, every point counts. It should be a messy group. it is uncertain who will be picked in defense for the Romans, one could expect A. Cole to feature, I'd suggest he will be dropped since he played the full 90 in their last match. The trio of Totti, Gervinho and Iturbe were all rested in that match and they will all start here. Keita instead of De rossi, pairing with Radja and Pjanic. Take a not at their midfield and the speed on the flanks. Cska have important absentees and are generally of lower quality in the middle of the park , so it is advantage for the hosts there. Wernbloom is utterly missed. Nonetheless, Musa-Doumbia-Tosic will all feature for the Moscow outfit and that's the best it can get for them going forward. All of them are doing well in their recent matches. I'd suggest is not about taking your most likely winner every time especially when you consider the odds. Though the romans are indeed favs to take all three, this will never be an easy match. You should't expect CSKA to underperform in a CL opener with four matches against Bayern and City yet to be played. In any case, italian clubs are not very big on trashings. It might happen, but not very likely. And with Musa and Doumbia capable of sneaking a goal it is a bit of a stretch. I'd suggest goals, if I had more clues of how a newly formed defensive line for the hosts would behave. There is a potential greek line-up for tonight with Torosidis, Manolas and Holebas and you can't really bet against the greeks when it comes to defense. CSKA +1 1pt at close to evens. Couldn't skip the picture:D. At least the ladies of this forum, I know there are some, will appreciate it. It is very enjoyable to see this man having a go again at the Europe stage. He is 37 and he is looking good and ready. 6553799447_9461226a58_o.0_standard_783.0.jpg Actually, I could expect (It is a guess) some money going CSKA way before kick-off, especially with the romans at this price, so if the HW potentially raise you could trade your position.
