TotoSchillaci
Re: Olympiacos v Atlético de Madrid > Tuesday September 16th Atletico dnb may be good accumulator material here. The danger is always that big clubs take the Greeks lightly and then get surprised. Can't see it with Atletico though as they have a real working class mentality where they earn everything they get and remain humble. The derby win is the perfect lead up to this match for them. The Greeks are coached by ex Sevilla and Getafe boss Michel which may help them here. Honestly I don't know much about Olimpiacos but they did blow a 2-0 aggregate lead away to a Moyes coached United last season...
GrandaddyCrunk
Re: Olympiacos v Atlético de Madrid > Tuesday September 16th I really like what I saw from Olympiakos in preseason and they proved very capable on the big stage last season, though no longer having Campbell is a loss, they do have Mitroglou back. Atletico obviously had to put in a massive effort on Saturday (even moreso with the way they play) against their rivals and that will harm rather than hurt them, in my opinion. Olympiakos had an easy 3-0 home win, in contrast. It's always tough to play in Greece and I have a feeling Simeone's side might be happy with a point here. theo13
Re: Olympiacos v Atlético de Madrid > Tuesday September 16th While both teams made big changes in their roster Atletico kept their key players- the ones that did the hard work last year, like Koke, Raul Garcia, Tiago and Gabi and also successfully replaced the ones that gave away so they are still a solid team that runs and presses for the whole game like they did last year and they proved why they are the Spanish champions by winning Real Madrid in ''Bernabeu'' 3 days ago. Olympiakos on the other hand gave away many key players of last season and today will also be missing Siovas and Maniatis due to injuries. Also they play in a much less competitive league so today is the team's first big test. Atletico Madrid to win @ 1.93 Marathonbet
