Belgian GP: Qualifying From a betting point of view it has to be Hamilton although backing odds-on with some of the luck he has been having is a brave man’s game. The 4/6 looks fair enough with the only real danger being his team mate Rosberg. For those looking for something a bit different tomorrow then backing Jean Eric-Vergne at 6/4 with Ladbrokes to make it into Q3 is worth a nibble. Re: Belgian Grand Prix Belgian GP I’m struggling to see why Rosberg is 5/4 against and is the value bet of the race without doubt, he starts the race in the lead, is full of confidence, knows how to defend against Hamilton and also know the pressure is on the Brit to deliver the goods which could lead to him taking a few too many risks. Elsewhere Fernando Alonso should be followed in some fashion, whether it be for the podium (5/2Ladbrokes), top six (4/11 >BetVictor) or betting without Mercedes (3/1 Skybet). I think Alonso has gone well in all sessions so far and wont mind if its wet or dry and should be able to give Red Bull a run for their money on this circuit. Williams are poor in the wet so cant be backed until you know what the weather is doing and the rest are seemingly out of it and battling for a point or two.
